Let me tell you, I've had my fair share of camera gear, and sometimes it feels like my camera is a picky toddler. I got this camera monitor mount to replace my current one which was wobbly. It connects well to my camera, is sturdy and most importantly keeps the monitor stable even when it is moving. The mount is made of high quality material and the size is just right. I had no problem with the installation, it was ready to use and only took a few minutes to install. I love to explore outside and take photos to preserve the beautiful moments of the places and things I discover. With this monitor mount, my photography experience is more enjoyable. The swivel design helps me get the best angle while the lock button helps to keep that angle in place. I like the compact and lightweight design, it is convenient for me to carry around. I was done with my old monitor mount wobbling all the time, so I grabbed this one. Right away it felt solid, no loose joints, no cheap wiggle. I can tilt and swivel it without worrying the screen will flop forward. I’ve had it mounted on top of my camera with the cold shoe, and it stayed steady even when I was moving around outdoors. During a recent shoot, I swapped between tripod and handheld a few times. The 1/4 screw mount made that switch easy. I just unthreaded it and had it back on the tripod in less than a minute, no fuss. The locating pins are a nice touch too. On my old mount, the monitor would slowly twist after a while, which drove me crazy. This one actually stays locked where I set it. The silicone pad underneath helps as well, I’m not worried about scratching the monitor anymore. I even tried mounting a small LED light just to see if it would hold, and it worked fine. Honestly, it’s the kind of little accessory you don’t think much about until you’ve dealt with bad ones, then you realize how much smoother your setup runs with a decent piece of kit.

I couldn’t be happier with this VILTROX Field Monitor Holder Mount. The build quality is outstanding—very solid metal construction that feels durable and dependable. It holds my monitor firmly in place with zero wobble, even when I’m moving my gimbal around a lot. The locating pin design is a huge plus because it keeps the monitor perfectly aligned and prevents any slipping.The adjustable angle is smooth and easy to set, and once tightened, it stays locked exactly where you want it. I love that it has both a cold shoe mount and an adapter, making it super versatile for different setups. It works perfectly with my camera rig, and it gives me the flexibility I need for professional shooting. It's an ok monitor mount. It does it's job, but it's honestly not my first choice. It's not as smooth to move as others. That being said it will keep your monitor in place securely.

I have a few of these monitor heads. This Viltrox head one is the heaviest of the lot. Its weight helps keep heavier monitors in place, especially important when you are on the move with the camera. This keeps the monitor in the position you lock it in to and doesn't budge. I haven't had the need to tighten anything up when using it, even when the monitor was at an angle greater than 45 degrees. It stayed put. I was concerned about the weight of it but it was a non-issue.
