I need the door to predator proof at night but it is easily removed during the day. This comes with plastic tabs to cover the screw heads. Very cute. I’m using this for my ducks. It was not bad to putting together (I did curse a couple times ). I’m happy with it BUT THEY NEVER SENT THE DOOR!!!! I see other people had that problem too but I realllyyy need it bc this is for my ducks and keeping them safe at night. Hopefully I can reach someone about it. ... show more

9/23/2022 -I purchased this dog house in the large size, as I have a female Great Pyrenees. The instructions were fairly simple to follow. No words on the assembly instructions, only pictures, with the exception of the materials list and quantity. The hardware comes with one extra of all the screws and little black screw covers. The walls are more on the flimsy side, I had to have a second person hold things together as I assembled them. Some of the screw holes didn't line up well and the roof was a little wonky until I screwed it all together. The stakes that are supposed to secure the house to the ground are short. I placed it on my porch so I didn't need the ground anchors. It doesn't come with a detachable door so it needs to be purchased separately. It's large enough for my GP to stand up in it and move around. The walls could be a little thicker, so it could be a little more stout, other than that, it's serving its purpose in housing my dog. I've had it for several weeks so we'll see how it stands up to my large dog. 10/27/2022 - I've had the doghouse for a few days longer than a month. The house itself is holding up but the door is junk. It wouldn't even hold up to my dog. I'm having to use a ratcheting tie down to secure the door closed. I'm not sure if the pins on the door aren't long enough so it isn't going into the holes far enough or if the holes are too weak to hold the door closed... so I guess my review isn't so much the house but the door that isn't quality. It had actually bent and is now bowed out... ... show more
