This bowl is beautiful, modern perfection. However it is listed as being white. It is not, it is a off-white creamy color. If that matters to you I thought I would let you know. I ended up keeping it even though clashes with all my white dishes.

I love this dinnerware! It's modern and elegantly understated. It's light weight, which is nice, and made of quality china--so I don't have to be too worried about chipping or breakage. However, breakage can be a problem in shipping. I've ordered three sets and the first two arrived in tact. The last set came with a broken mug. I don't drink coffee so I really don't care, but if a plate came that way I'd be contacting Amazon for a replacement. For the low price I paid, I can do without the mug. ... show more

Love this bowl. The size is great for chips and chunky salsa, assortment of crackers, or a unique bouquet of roses. Usefulness is only limited to your imagination. I love the dish and it works well with all of my New Wave dinnerware. Most of Villeroy and Boch New Wave is made of china, this New Wave Chip and Dip dish is not made of china; it is made of porcelain. These bowls are absolutely breathtaking. I purchased them and then realized I have the same set cups from this brand. They are so modern and unique. Guests always compliment them on how they stand out. They are a gorgeous piece and they did fall once and did not even crack. LOVE THEM
