Colors are great and thread is strong enough for my colorflow quilts. Picked the threads up and went through and found EVERY color that I needed. I am an avid cross-stitcher and embroidery enthusiast. This is soft, shiny, 6-ply thread. I’ve found some knots, but they’ve been easy to untangle. I don’t know if it’s pure cotton, but it does not feel stretchy at all, and the color doesn’t fade or change when I washed it. It matches DMC’s color and number charts, making it easy to use for my projects. I was skeptical about the quality of this thread when I added it to the cart. But now that I’ve received it and used it for a large cross stitch pattern, I can say this was my best purchase of the year. I bought the 447 color pack. There were 448 individual skeins in the bag. There are a few doubles of colors, but that’s perfectly fine for me. None of them were tangled together as other reviewers said. I’ve cross stitched with the name brand thread and this. I’ve had zero problems with fraying or tangling. The numbers on the skeins of thread do correlate to the DMC colors, but I can’t speak to if the colors are an exact match. Either way, this pack is an amazing buy. If buying the name brand, you’d spend close to 500$ on as much thread, vs this brand for 45$. Absolutely will buy more in the future and you should too! ... show more

I am so happy that I ordered this floss! The quality is great and the floss matches up with DMC numbers and colors. I printed a DMC color chart and inventory sheet from ETSY, and am having such a good time matching the floss and organizing it on bobbins. I've only had two skeins that had a knot in them, not bad at all. Really impressed with this. Definitely not 457 different colors, there were absolutely doubles. But the variety of colors is great, and they are of pretty good quality for the price. Can’t really feel much difference from dmc in quality, but I am also a beginner. I would definitely recommend getting this for its price!
