I have two young boys and this was a great introduction to hair products for them. We absolutely love the combs. They are great quality and one of the main reasons I wanted to try this item. The product smells great and the hold looks very natural. Overall it works well and is a lot less greasy than other products we have tried.

So far, so good! My 16 yr old son has medium texture, thick, curly hair. I was unsure of how the sea salt spray would function, given that most sea salt sprays are very sticky and can lack frizz control. But we applied this to his damp-wet hair, combed through with one of the provided wider toothed combs, and lightly scrunched. Its not completely dry yet, but the parts that are, show definition and control, and are not sticky or grimey. Some slight frizz, but thats due more to the fact that his hair wasnt evenly wet upon application. And also, no other products were used in conjunction! So, considering that, the frizz level isnt that bad! His hair is usually a poofy mess. Hes lazy and doesnt like to style his hair, lol. But Im hoping with how easy this was to apply, and how good his hair looks, that he'll be more likely to style it a little more often now. Another bonus is that the spray smells amazing! Like a light, fresh, clean smelling cologne. Not overpowering at all. I will be trying a the hair oil when his hair is dry, and will update then. I havent used the pomade/wax product, and probably wont, due to the fact that it has petroletum as one of the first ingredients. Which is completely unnecessary in hair care, and a cheap low quality ingredient! The powder texturizer might be worth a try, but Ill be using it on my husband, who has straighter and finer hair. Another thing I dont like, besides the wax styler, is that that combs arent labeled. There are a ton of combs, all individually wrapped, and then bundled into two packs (one for beard and one for head) and wrapped in more plastic. SO. MUCH. PLASTIC. And after all that packaging, they couldnt bother to label each combs packaging with a label that states which comb it is. Even though they reference the comb names and purposes on the box. I was able to figure out most of them, due to being a licensed cosmetologist. But the average man, or teen, will probably not know what is what. Lol. Given all that, I still think this set is worth it. Especially if youre not an ingredient snob like me, and will use the styling wax, lol. This set would be good for any hair type, except maybe very fine, thin hair.
