I was replacing an existing light fixture so had no issues with the connections being on top of the fixture; they fit inside the housing inserted into the Sheetrock. Not bright. We bought these for a couple bedrooms in the basement And had to return them because they are quite dim. We got more light from a standard 100 watt (equivalent) in a lamp than from this light fixture. I’m super bummed too because these are gorgeous lights.
