These pillows are a good alternative to down (which I am allergic to) They hold their shape well so far and have the heavy feel of down without getting poked as down pillows often do. I haven't had them long enough to see how they will hold up over the long term but so far they seem good. The stitching is solid and the outer fabric is heavy but still soft. These pillows are a good down alternative. They hold shape and a have a heavy feel. Initial impressions are positive with solid stitching and soft, heavy fabric. There was a temporary very mild odor upon opening butnit wemt away almost imme, and they only needed a few seconds to fully expand. I've been sleeping on this pillow for 3 days now and it's just the type of pillow that I like: squishy without being too firm but it doesn't compact down too much when you lay on it. The stitching is well-done with high end details including a flat satin piping all around the pillow.
