  • Great for the family
Plug in a play! Easy game to hook up and play immediately without any complicated set up process or instructions needed. It reminds me a lot of the old school projector games but with the advanced technology of today. This is a great system for a family game night, definitely seems designed for younger kids-preteens but as an adult I genuinely enjoy playing along. Great way to spend more time as a family by getting everyone involved. The selection of games is great as there are countless games to choose from, bored of one? Move to the next. Truly a game for everyone. ... show more

  • Easy to set up
This plug-and-play TV game console is an absolute hit for family game nights and rainy-day fun. With over 100 games and no internet required, it offers endless entertainment right out of the box without any of the setup frustration of modern consoles. Setup couldn't be easier. Just plug the HDMI cable into your TV, power it on, and you're ready to go—no WiFi connections, account creations, updates, or hidden subscriptions required. With 100+ video games and 20+ virtual shooting games, there is something for every skill level and interest. The interactive shooting and motion-based games keep kids moving, jumping, and actively engaged rather than just sitting idle on the couch. Supports side-by-side play so siblings, friends, or parents can jump in together. It's a fantastic way to encourage teamwork, friendly competition, and family bonding. Since it operates entirely offline, you never have to worry about unmonitored ads, pop-ups, or online interactions. It offers safe, wholesome entertainment designed specifically for kids ages 3 and up. The controllers are lightweight, comfortable, and easy for small hands to operate, helping younger kids build hand-eye coordination without getting frustrated by overly complex button mappings. Whether you're looking for a great birthday gift, a fun indoor activity system for bad weather, or a simple console the whole family can enjoy together, this set delivers incredible value and nonstop fun. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Definitely best for kids up to 9 or 10. Too cutesy for older kids
For children ages 3 (with adult help) to about 9 or 10, kids will enjoy this game system. The games are relatively simple, and don't have a great learning curve. For kids past 10, and definitely for adults, I would not recommend this. While there are a lot of games- 100-plus- they are really variations on a theme, and there are very few original or different games. They kind of all blend together after a while. The game system was easily set up. The console is very small- just slightly bigger than a pack of cards. You plug the included HDMI cable into the back of the TV, and the power cord into a charger. Note: There is a charger cord, but no charger block. It takes a standard USB-B (bigger plug) block. I had several kicking around in my tech and cord drawer, so that was not a problem. Once you turn on the console and switch the input to the correct HDMI port, you are good to go. The two controllers take two AAA batteries, and the gun takes two AA batteries. Six in total. Everything is synced to the game already, so there is no pairing. Overall, everything works, and there truly are a lot of games to try. Again, most of the games are variations of each other, so once you learn how to manipulate the game action, it is pretty much the same for all the other games. The one thing I did not like about it was that I did not find a way to adjust any settings. There may be a way, but it is not very intuitive. Again, for younger kids this might be a good investment, and give them some great rainy day fun. But for kids past 9 or 10, and most certainly for teenagers and adults, this system will not be worth it. ... show more

  • Everyone loved it.
We have several family events each year, & someone suggested a family game night. I purchased this gaming system fot those occasions & I'm so glad I did. This system is of good quality, & was easy to Install and set up. Everyone loved the games because they were easy to learn & comprehend, even for us old Atari gamers! For all of the fun we had using this system for 1 game night, it was a good value for the money. My grandson is big into gaming on a modern day console & even he really enjoyed playing on this system. ... show more

  • totally appropriate games, finally!
We love this system! I wasn’t sure what to expect from the shooting games, especially with younger kids playing, but those have ended up being some of our favorites. They’re more along the lines of Duck Hunt, hitting targets, rescuing things, etc. They don’t have the graphic feel that so many of the shooting games on mainstream systems have, which is a BIG plus for me. There are over 100 games altogether, so the kids aren’t stuck playing the same few things. Along with the shooting games there are puzzle games and active sports-style games, and so far everything we’ve tried has felt very kid appropriate and mom approved. It comes with the gun controller plus two regular controllers, so you aren’t limited to just one type of game. Some of the regular games can also be played by two people, which is nice when more than one kid wants a turn. Another thing I really like is the simplicity. It plugs directly into the TV with HDMI and the games are already there—no Wi-Fi, downloads, accounts, subscriptions, or buying games individually. This has been WAY more fun than I expected. The shooting games alone have gotten a ton of play at our house, and I love that the kids can enjoy that style of game without me cringing at what’s happening on the screen. ... show more

  • Retro arcade feel, calibration quirk
I bought this for my kids as an indoor activity. It comes with about 100 games, mostly shooting and sports with some puzzle titles in the mix. Plugging it into the TV via HDMI was easy, but the calibration surprised me the first time. It is a little pricey for what you get. The light gun has decent weight to it, and the wireless controllers paired without trouble. The games are the weak point. They look and play like 90s arcade ROMs, not anything a kid used to a tablet or a Switch is going to recognize. This is not a Wii. My son lost interest fast. Simple graphics and repetitive gameplay, and the novelty was gone before the first afternoon ended. The light gun is where this thing gets interesting. The console makes you calibrate before every game, which would be fine if the calibration held. But it shifts depending on where you stand relative to the TV. When two kids pass the gun back and forth, you end up recalibrating every time. The product photos make the whole setup look sharper than it is. An older kid who likes retro games might get more out of this. An adult who remembers Duck Hunt could enjoy the novelty for an evening. For my 5-year-old, it did not hold his attention. It works for what it is, but I would not count on it as a regular toy. ... show more
