Customer service was very helpful with the issues I could be helped with. Audio is 18 frames ahead of the video. So audio has to be advanced 18 frames. The picture seems more clear than my phone, but not what I expected. Can not figure out how to get the ISO part to work. No light, unless I have the actual light on. But the ISO level makes no difference. Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. The added microphone sounds bad, but does cut out the wind. Couldn't get the microphone to fit, but customer service explained how to do it. Webcam works, but it's really dark, despite having multiple ring lights on high. It is convenient to hold, with the size and the strap to go around your hand. I like that the lens cover has a tether, so you can't drop or lose it. I like how easy you can flip the screen around, so you can go back and forth between yourself and something else. It does have a lot of adjustments you can make and I'll eventually try them all. So my overall opinion? It's convenient, but the quality of the recording is lacking. Yeah, I'll keep using it. But for selective things. As in, probably just for outdoors stuff. I enjoy this little camera, I use it for my personal adventure videos, and it is very easy to use and the instructions were very clear.     • Wait...it doesn't focus?
I get it - what do you expect for $70? But really, the camera won't focus and the picture is too grainy. Outside of that, the image is choppy/buggy with motion and really struggles. I found that my audio didn't match up with the video either which is a big disappointment. I should've done more research but I don't think my expectations are crazy. You can't even manually focus the camera. Biggest Cons: - No ability to focus the camera - Audio doesn't match video - Choppy / buggy picture Biggest Pros: - Price (can't argue that) - Form factor is compact and familiar (as an older, more camcorder based person) - (2) Batteries included - 32gb SD card included - Decent flash/light for night shooting What do you think this camcorder would be good for? Trips/travel, kids sports games, family reunions, weddings, gatherings, home movies. Should it be used for anything professional? No Should it be considered in place of an iPhone video as a camera? Definitely not. It's a nice supplement because it separates the phone from the actual video shooting function. I also like the form factor because it reminds me of old school camcorders, though none were ever this small. Would I recommend? No. Ultimately, for my use, it's just too low quality to keep. Call me spoiled from iPhone video quality but this really misses the mark. I can tolerate the choppy video and the audio being a little unreliable but the nail in the coffin was the focus. Pretty good camera. The sound quality of the mic could be better, but for the price, I can't complain. The remote that came along with it does not work at all, and I have no idea how to contact the seller to let them know. It seems like Amazon shields us from contacting the seller. I'm hoping the seller sees this review and offers to send me a working remote. Other than that, the camera was fine, and it arrived in less than a week. ... show more

It has gotten lots of use over the past couple of months and holding up very well. It has a nice solid feel to it. It’s compact, lightweight and packed with features. I thought this camcorder would be perfect for simple videos. I was disappointed, the body of it feels light and cheap. (Like a child's camera) Zoom is crappy and focus is not good. The menu to navigate is very difficult. I feel sorry for someone whom isn't computer savvy. The sound of your voice doesn't match up with the video, and the tone of everything is twangy. When the battery ran low it erased all of my videos on the memory card. It has gotten stuck in an automatic, shut down, turn on loop. I try to find the positive in everything so I keep telling myself I will find a perfect use for this camcorder. I just haven't found it yet. ... show more
