User manual is difficult to use. Printing and booklet are too small. You almost need a magnifying glass to read. Also, battery life was very poor and couldn't find any way to extend it.

I bought this camcorder well ahead of time to give it a good amount of testing, since my now wife and I wanted to have friends and family record "The Office"-style interviews throughout our wedding evening. The video quality is great, very smooth and high quality in 1080p 60fps. The audio wasn't great when I first tested it, so I purchased some external microphones to use that came with 10s of thousands of 4+ star reviews. I tested them in our living room and they picked up audio well enough it seemed. On the day of, we handed the camcorders and microphones off to various people, and let them loose to record. Upon reviewing all of the hours and hours of video, the audio is almost completely missing. If amplified in an editing software, most of the speaking comes through but with a lot of noise behind it. I don't know what the issue was, probably this being cheap and just not having enough output power through the audio jack to receive a good audio input from the microphone.
