Most of the time this monitor works but there are times that it goes in and out of service for no explicable reason. Attempts to get it back in working order garner inconsistent results. Sometimes what you try works; other times the same method doesn't work. I would not buy again.

Baby monitor was easy to assemble and hook up. Had no issues with connection even with the camera being downstairs it connected perfectly. The picture quality is amazing and you can see everything going on. The night vision is just as great, you can see just as well as you can during the day. There's lots of options to zoom in or out, move the camera around. You can push the button down to speak to your baby. You can also play music and still hear movements. Disliked that the alert button goes off at any sound and doesn't stop beeping its very loud and will continue to go off over and over again. The battery life is okay, it doesn't stay charged for more than a few hours. Other then that it has been great to use, and I highly recommend. ... show more

The VIDEO BABY MONITOR WITH 5” SPLIT SCREEN AND 720P RESOLUTION BABY CAMERA are an impressive combination. They come beautifully packaged together with all their accessories . I admit, I am a total sucker for products that are beautifully and thoughtfully packaged. I think it matters. It shows that either the manufacturer or the seller thinks their product is worth the extra time and expense it takes to display the product beautifully. It makes a huge, positive first impression. This is certainly a gift worthy item. It is perfect for a new mother. It isn’t just the way its packaged that impressed me about this baby monitor. Everything about it is first class and high quality. Setting it up is effortless. The product has a few features I won’t be using, but the controls and menu for the monitor are intuitive and explained simply in the enclosed manual. It is straight forward and not at all confusing. The monitor is wireless with a fold down antenna and an attached stand that also folds into the unit, laying flush. The design is aesthetically pleasing and the weight and way it feels when you hold it are also comfortable. No sharp edges and designed by somebody who knows how to make form and function work together. There are only four buttons on the monitor. They are labeled MENU, ZOOM and TALK . The fourth button has arrows that point 4 directions. These are used for tilting and panning the camera and for making preference selections from the menu button. It can run in multiple modes, alerting you when it detects sounds by turning on the sleeping monitor screen, flashing lights , or beeping. It can do all three or none of them. You can have silent mode and have the monitor never sleep. Options I will never use are setting an alarm to remind you of feeding times, and playing a lullaby for the baby. The lullaby choices and the tinny sound are the only part of this system that I would consider a fail. But since they are not integral for the product to fulfill its purpose, I choose not to use them and not fault the manufacturer for just trying to add another bell and whistle, even though it is hardly necessary. There are easily adjusted volume controls and sensitivity adjustments. The picture is crisp and clean during the day and at night. The range of the tilt and pan can cover an entire room it you set it against a wall. There is an optional wide angle lens you can purchase separately, if you want to extend your view without moving the camera. The Zoom does an excellent job bringing objects closer with the first touch and even closer with a second touch. Hitting Zoom a third time brings the view back to default. Extra cameras can be paired with the unit, and 2 cameras can be viewed at once by splitting the screen on the monitor. This thing is feature packed but it is simple to implement the features. After reading the small instruction book once. I was able to put it away and won’t need to refer to it again. Easy. This baby monitor is very close to perfect. ... show more

This is a great little baby monitor for a smaller budget, it doesn't have the best picture quality/ video quality, but once it gets going it kind of clears up. It's fairly easy to set up, just follow the directions, standard and most electronics nowadays. The night vision actually shows really great surprisingly. I got this video baby monitor for my friend's baby and I’m very impressed with it. It has a large 5" split-screen display that shows both cameras at the same time. The cameras have 720P resolution and pan-tilt-zoom function that let me see every detail of the babies’ room. The audio is clear and crisp, and the two-way talk feature allows me to soothe my babies or talk to my partner. The VOX mode saves battery life by turning on the screen only when sound is detected. The battery lasts for up to 12 hours on a single charge. The night vision is automatic and works well in low-light conditions. The monitor also has a night light and 5 lullabies that help my babies fall asleep. The monitor does not need Wi-Fi to work, so it is secure and reliable.
