I’ve been running a full Victron setup in my RV since 2021, including the MultiPlus inverter/charger, the SmartSolar 100/30 charge controller, the BMV-712 battery monitor, and the Digital MultiControl panel. After years of use across various climates and conditions, I can confidently say this system has been absolutely rock solid. Each component was easy to install and configure, and the integration between devices is seamless. The MultiPlus handles all of my AC needs flawlessly, switching between shore power, generator, and battery without a hiccup. The SmartSolar charge controller keeps my solar system optimized and running efficiently, even on cloudy days. The BMV-712 gives me precise battery monitoring at a glance, and the MultiControl panel makes managing the inverter simple from inside the RV. What I appreciate most is how this system has given me real freedom. I can boondock for days without stress, knowing exactly how my batteries are doing and trusting that the system will just work.     • Perfect upgrade for our 2008 Tiffin Phaeton

This inverter is probably the best quality inverter I have ever owned. I bought it to replace the original Xantrex RS2000 in my motorhome. It was modified sine, and multiple modern electronics would not play nice with it, and we wanted a residential fridge, so it was time. I ordered one that was listed in used/good condition, so it was missing the owners manual and the upper mounting bracket. As a workaround, I drilled holes in the very sturdy housing itself and put the bolts through that directly. As far as running my coach, EVERYTHING runs better! My GFI's no longer hum, the microwave runs hotter, and I can now run my wife's fancy DeLonghi coffee maker and splendid washer dryer combo straight off the inverter. It also ties into my existing Victron solar ecosystem well. I have yet to figure out how to set up auto start for my own 8000 generator, but it looks like it will accommodate that once I figure out the wiring.     • Simply amazing charger/inverter

The MultiPlus was the perfect upgrade for our 5th wheel to improve our off-grid capabilities. We have (4) 100Ah BattleBorn batteries. The input current limit makes this completely compatible with our 2200W generator but limits charging current from 120A to about 75A. This has not been an issue as the batteries still charge at an astonishing rate. Best of all, the MultiPlus charger works well with our Renogy Rover solar controller allowing us to simply use whatever is available to charge/maintain the batteries. The 50A built-in transfer switch is perfect for RVs with a 30A input because the MultiPlus can be installed directly in line with shore power and it will handle the logic for when yo pass through or when to invert. We have a 50A shore power input which has 2 hot wires. The MultiPlus can only handle a single hot wire. We added an external transfer switch to pass shore power directly to the load center. The other option was to use (2) MiltiPlus units. For the most part, this unit cannot be heard from inside the RV. The one exception is during bulk and absorption charging after a moving day. This only lasts for a few hours and the unit is silent again before bed time. Programming the MultiPlus was a breeze, just follow the manual. There are many program examples to follow and help you select the program that is best for your application and battery type. The electrical wiring was also quite easy. This has revolutionized all of the power inside of my 1999 Winnebago Rialta 22 HD.
