I bought this for my 7 year old so I'm not that picky. I wanted something portable, purple with good sound. So far that's been met, however the turntable makes a scraping sound with every revolution. It doesn't sound like it's hurting anything, like it's coming from underneath, not from the record. I don't think my kid would notice with the music playing and I don't want to go through the trouble of returning. But still, for $60 it shouldn't have a strange noise. ... show more

I bought this item for my son's birthday in July. He didn't want to use it until he got his own apartment. It took him until two weeks ago to do this. When he tried to play it the plug don't work for the unit. I couldn't find a place on Amazon to let them know because it was bought in July. So, this is the only way to let them know.
