What can I say? I laughed, then I cried. Almost sent this little guy back. Out of the box, this comes smashed beyond belief. They actually grab the entire top piece and bend it down into a U-shape to fit into the box. How about a taller box? This literally took me an hour and a half to individually pull each branch down into place, separate each little twig and bend them into the direction they should go. Apply moisturizer ahead of time! Your hands might bleed! The branches are not soft. I ordered the 36" one only because it wouldn't let me choose the larger one. It was available but refused to let me pick it. I wish I could have ordered that one because this didn't turn out too badly. So after 90 minutes and a few drinks, I got it looking halfway decent and then had to deal with the crookedness. I read all of the reviews and most said there's came crooked too. Why? There is no reason for this. The bottom is in some kind of cement. It's heavy which will help it to not tip over, unless like me, you have a cat. Good luck! The burlap bag wound around the bottom was put on by someone in a very big hurry. That needed tweaked. But I did it and had to find a container to jam it into so I could keep it straight. I found a little silver bucket. It's too small but makes me laugh at something other than this tree so that's something. I am attaching photos so you can see how a Christmas miracle can be performed! The before picture is when I went from laughing to crying. You will see why. And you will see just how crooked this thing is! It's bad. Then there is the picture with part of the branches pulled down and my cat staring at it trying hard not to to laugh. Still pretty sad but if you purchase this tree, don't give up. Keep applying hand cream and push through. You might be pleasantly surprised! Finally the end result, undecorated, and then decorated. If you take the time, this tree is worth it! ... show more

These trees are awesome. They look so natural and as good or better than the picture. I got the 42", 36", 30" and 24". Wish I hadn't waited to order. By the time I fluffed all of the branches for all 4, it was the day before Christmas (I already had my fake-looking regular tree up). I immediately moved my old tree into the living room and placed the 3 largest in the family room, our main Christmas spot. They looked great! Yes they do take quite a bit of shaping, but that's because there are so many branches. You only have to do it once, unless you're going to squish them down every year (which I'm not). Mine arrived well packaged and in good shape, only one had a few loose "twigs", and those looked like extra piece's that had been laid in the tree, not pieces that had come loose. I highly recommend these if you're looking for a smaller, real looking tree. ... show more

This little tree is absolutely perfect for our downsized Christmas display this year. The base is sturdy and heavy; the burlap covering is traditional and innocuous. The tree itself was fun to "fluff out"; we referred to the Amazon listing photo. Our tree looks just like the photo! There is plenty of greenery to give a realistic look, and generous spaces between the branches to hold our mercury glass heirloom ornaments. The pinecones are sturdy and well-attached. The tree is on a small table to add height. We put some photos on Facebook, and have gotten great compliments! We'll use this tree for years. ... show more

I ordered this charming tree as an additional tabletop holiday decoration for our home. It appeared very narrow once it was removed from its shipping box, but after gently bending and shaping each branch, the tree was transformed! Each branch has several smaller sprigs that add a very realistic look. This tree appears much more natural than other artificial trees normally on display in stores...the needles are lifelike and are a dark matte green color. The small pine cones and heavy burlap base add a nice rustic appearance. The height of the tree with its burlap base is exactly 42 inches. The top of the tree is slender with a gradual width between 7 and 10 inches. The middle of the tree is approximately 16 inches wide and the widest bottom branch area is between 21 and 22 inches. The more time you spend shaping the tree makes it look even more beautiful. We’ve already added a string of 300 small white LED lights and it’s pretty enough to stay up all winter! We are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add something special to their home for the holiday season! ... show more

I couldn't be happier with this tree. As most artificial trees, it comes packed with all branches needing to be opened and worked with but it only took about 45 minute and was adorable when I finished. I needed a tree to set into an antique milk crate that I love. It has the vintage farmhouse look I was going for. The little pine cones add the finishing touch. I added 2 strings of fairy string lights that I also found on Amazon. So sweet! ... show more

I love this little tree. It seems well made and is quite realistic for a small tree. My problem was the condition it was in when I received it. As you can see from the description, it has a weighted base that's quite substantial in weight. It was packaged in a box that was way too large which allowed it to slam around in the box, with too little padding which also contributed to the slamming around, and no marking on the box such as "this end up" which might have kept the slamming isolated to the bottom rather than crushing the top half. As the description says it's a 36" tree. When I received it, it was crushed to 28". Yes, I really DID measure it. It literally took three days (a couple hours per day) to straighten it out and a hot glue gun to reattach the pine cones that came off (the ones that were salvageable). I know the 4 star might seem odd considering my trouble but I can say this, at least; It's pretty darn durable. If it was cheaply made I never would have been able to salvage it. If they will address their packaging issues, then I would highly recommend this. ... show more
