Very lightweight but quite sturdy. Our dog is a bumbling athlete. With a nose and agility to catch tree squirrels before they escape and an i usual adoration for mud and puddles. So far after several months it has proven to not only be effective but also very reliable. Distance is definitely straight line but still quite impressive. We’re a working farm but the dog that uses this is a pet and voracious huntress. Very quickly she learned the audible tone (trained with vocal command). Anytime she does disappear it’s bad news. Think quiet toddler .. all quiet?? Blissful!! Oh no! Wait, not bliss! Drama and trauma ensuing at inaudible levels!!! When she’d vanish during work I’d call her return command and if no response within 3 seconds I hit the audible warning. Not only does this remind her she is to return on command it helps me to determine the direction she’s gone. Only on one full attack to a farm animal occasion did I use the shock feature. I tested first on myself and it’s more startling and uncomfortable than painful. She was rightly quite startled and it definitely helped break the hunt/kill instinct mode to regain her attention. So long as not abused this is an excellent training tool for exceptionally stubborn, smart and willful dogs. I do wish the buttons were placed differently or required a lid flip or something to allow easier stowage when not in immediate use. It becomes difficult to maintain work and hold the remote or risk accidentally disciplining acceptable behavior when unit is in a pocket or a working hand.

We initially bought the two collar set to help with our dog’s excessive barking and have found it also helps as a training tool to correct other bad behaviors. Our neighbors dog is not well liked by our dogs and they always bark at him causing him to charge at our fence. Now, when we hear the dogs bark we can recall them immediately to avoid that. Also, I have a dog that seems to be a poop eater and when I see that start to happen I can now stop that nasty behavior as well. The sound of the beep works perfectly and we don’t even need to press the vibration button. I like that even more!

IT WORKED GREAT FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS & THEN JUST QUIT WORKING. TRIED TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES IN THE RECEIVER (COLLAR) & THE REMOTE, BUT TO NO AVAIL. VERY DISAPPOINTED. USED IT ONLY 3-4 TIMES FOR BARKING & GOT IMMEDIATE RESULTS. ONLY HAD TO "SHOW" MY DOG THE REMOTE AFTER THAT & SHE QUIT BARKING. ALSO WORKED ON HER JUMPING UP ON ME & MY WIFE. iT REALLY WORKS IF IT WOULD JUST LAST LONGER THAN 3 WEEKS?

This product works tremendously! I ordered this as a replacement for one I initially bought which was garbage. I used this collar on my unruly pitbull and works perfectly! I can simply show my dog the remote or anything that resembles the remote and he stops in his tracks. The collar was much more adjustable and the battery life surprised me.

The collar is almost impossible to turn off. The collar started beeping for no reason, which made my dog think she was doing something wrong. It's cheap and started beeping on only the 3rd time it was used. The collar was totally charged and had gotten only a little wet while she played in the water. She didn't even swim....just splashed around.

All around I think it’s a great product for the cost . I purchased 2 and syncing them to one remote was not hard at all. One ONLY THING I DONT LIKE is that the adjustable straps are toooo long . I feel that this product should come with the options to change the bands similar to an Apple Watch, but other then that My dogs are now listening so I can’t complain!

It works wonderfully as a vibrating collar however I cannot turn it off I follow the instructions to hold the button for 3 seconds and nothing happens it does not turn off I cannot find a phone number or a way to contact the manufacturer
