I looked at product reviews for a bed in a box because the price point was in our price range. Personally I can't afford an $1100 mattress and I'm just not gonna spend that kind of money on a mattress! There's this thing I have called lots of bills and little expendable income... So bed in a box it is. It shipped out and I got it in a few days. The box came and it was a little shorter than me, I'm pretty short, and it wasn't that big around. I had to transport it so we stuck it in the backseat of my little car. We didn't just throw it in the backseat. There was some mathematical calculations with a little geometry thrown in and at an angle, with a little force we were able to shut both doors. This mattress is heavy but we finally got it in the house. We opened the box, thinking that there's no way a full size mattress can fit in this box. We pulled it out with my husband pulling and me pushing. It was a big giant sushi roll wrapped in lots of plastic. I watched the video on how to unroll it. We stood on each side and then we carefully cut the plastic. Let me tell you... When you take the vacuum sealed plastic off of a 12' mattress, there is no carefully unrolling it. You just stand to the side and get out of the way. That sucker popped open and rolled itself out. Thankfully there were no injuries. Do not stand in front of the mattress when it rolls out. You'll lose an eye. I finally laid down on this mattress. It was like getting a warm hug from your mom after you skinned your knee. It contoured to my body. There were no pressure points. It is the most comfortable mattress that I've ever laid on. It's been two nights of wonderful comfortable sleep. I don't wake up with back pain. My neck doesn't hurt anymore. I will forevermore buy a bed in a box but hopefully I won't need another one for at least 10 years. ... show more

I researched mattresses for weeks. Realizing that reviews on those items are very subjective. So here is my take. I really like it. It is the right amount of support for me with a little bit of cushioning on the top. so you sink in a little, which is just prefect for me. I have lower back problems and sleep great on it, either on my back or my sides. I think its a great price compared with the store mattresses sell for and I love the convenience of the box ship. The first night I slept on this I woke up woth no lower back pain which I haven't done in years. I am 6'5, and...uh...fluffy. I'm also old school, so when we needed a mattress in a hurry, but are about to be in the middle of a move to a new home with a new bed situation, I didn't want to shell out for an expensive mattress if I wasn't sure what I was going to build for the new home. Enter my skeptical butt when the gf suggested a mattress from a box. So, sure, whatever, didn't think I'd need to sleep on it long so I caved with lots of doubting looks and handing over my card to her. When it arrived I was full blown 'there is no way this will be enough of a mattress for me to be comfortable on.' But, because I've watched too many Wile E Coyote cartoons, I was very hesitant opening it, because I didn't want to get yeeted through the wall. Modern day Shakespeare in the works...."What fat butt through yon window breaks?" But we opened it....and holy crap. Space saver technology has came a long way. It really was a thick mattress. And it was so comfortable! Holy crap is it comfortable. My last mattress was a pillow top that I paid over 1k for. And if I was given the option between the two, I'll take this mattress every time. I sleep comfortable with no tossing and turning at all, very little stiffness from being sprawled all night...I love this purchase. I did about lose my nipple to it though, not because of sleep or anything, but because I carried the box inside while shirtless (I had been outside working in the yard) and when I sat it down in the floor, I slid it down my body to drop it, and I felt like it grabbed my nipple and took it for the ride. But that's on my dumbness, not on the mattress. Would recommend, and it is a deep mattress, so make sure you have the deep pocket sheets with it. ... show more
