Love the shrink wrap. Easy to move into the room you need it in! The mattress is only 8" thick, which is something I'm not used to. After airing it out and letting it take full shape, we slept on it. It's very comfortable! We put it on the box spring, and while it's not as high as the other mattress was, it's actually a better height! It's easier for our older dog to get up and down, lol. Great mattress that is very comfortable. I have it on a futon with the metal bars and I do not feel the frame at all. This is great news since I do not have to replace the frame! Like most memory foam mattresses, this thing needs to air out for a solid day. It's pretty strong. Luckily I have a garage and leaving it out was no issue. He really likes it, which is great since he has sensory issues, and something new like this could always go the opposite way really fast. We currently have a king size bed with two twin size adjustable bases. We have had the two teen XL mattresses for years and we are definitely due an upgrade. Not necessarily because our mattress is worn out, but because as we've gotten older, our needs have changed. I love the dual side adjustable bases, but at this point I am more concerned with getting a good nights sleep. With this mattress we can't use the bases for raising up or down independently, we would both have to move at the same time or the mattress slips off at an awkward angle. This mattress itself, is very comfortable. It feels like a medium firm to me. It comes with a very soft cover that is meant to protect the mattress as well as feel nice when sleeping. Overall, this is a nice mattress. I will continue to use it but remain on my quest to find the perfect mattress for both of us. I would love to find a combination that allows us to use the adjustable bases independently. ... show more

I recently moved and while I didn't necessarily need a new mattress, I figured it was time for an update. During the move, I discovered that my big box spring was impossible to get up the very narrow steps without doing some serious remodeling. So, the choice was made to use my old mattress as the base and put this new one on top. The comfort of the new mattress is very great. Removing it from the packaging it puffed up very quickly and had each of my friends try it out after I discovered how comfortable it was. They were both very jealous. I got the queen size mattress and was shocked when it arrived in such a small package. It's amazing how they are able to squeeze this down to nearly nothing. The mattress is very substantial once opened and has a really good firmness to it. I replaced my old Sleep Number mattress and am happy I did so. My back pain seems to be less these days. Some of the fancier mattresses out there do have a better feel, but you'll be paying 2 to 3 times the price! I would definitely recommend this to those seeking a memory foam mattress at a great price! ... show more
