I always used the weed fabric blocker usually found in local hardware stores. Halfway through the gardening season, the fabric would already be broken down from UV and removing grasses and weeds where my vegetables were growing. It was as though I used a paper barrier. This year I tried this particular weed barrier. No degrading. Still looks like I just applied it. Easy to set up where you're going to plant your seeds or potted vegetables. This material has lines printed on it about 2 ft apart and allowed me to plant in a straight line. What I like most is I could really use this again next spring.

Heavier fabric and weave than most landscaping fabric. Doesn't tear or stretch. Easy to lay, provides an excellent weed barrier over prepared base(we raked and removed surface weeds and grass before laying). We placed raised beds and river rock surrounding them, and are very happy with the low maintenance aspect as compared to the average landscaping fabric you buy at home improvement stores. Look for sales to get the best price

We’re redoing our entire backyard and ordered one roll of the VEVOR weed barrier to try—along with a different brand for comparison. We installed each on opposite sides of the yard, and the difference was clear: not a single weed on the VEVOR side, while the other brand has weeds practically everywhere. You definitely get what you pay for. It works very well, and we’ve already ordered more VEVOR for the rest of the yard. Wish is came in larger rolls.

I’ve ordered this geotextile fabric twice (8 oz, 6 ft x 100 ft) same exact jon-woven fabric. The first roll was excellent—very strong, good tensile strength, and no issues when securing with 6" landscaping staples and didn't tear when securing the staples. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to reorder. **Unfortunately, the second roll I purchased did not perform the same. Even though the thickness measures the same, the material feels weaker and the tensile strength is noticeably less than the first roll. I discovered this after I had already used about a third of the roll, so returning it isn’t an option. Staples tore through the fabric in different areas. It seems like there may be an inconsistency in manufacturing between batches. My first experience was great, but this second roll feels inferior in quality compared to what I expected. I should have ordered a name brand. I need more landscaping fabric . Any suggestions of where to purchase, would be helpful. Thank you, Keith
