Comprehensive Product Review: Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide
Size: 5,000 sq. ft.
Having encountered persistent fungal issues in my lawn, I decided to invest in the Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide to tackle the problem effectively. After utilizing it over a span of several weeks and closely monitoring its impact, I've compiled a thorough review encompassing its effectiveness, ease of use, environmental considerations, value for money, and overall performance. Effectiveness The hallmark of any lawn fungicide is its ability to combat and prevent fungal diseases, and Scotts DiseaseEx undoubtedly excels in this aspect. Upon application, I witnessed a noticeable reduction in the spread of fungal infections within a week. Troublesome issues such as brown patch and dollar spot began to recede, with affected areas displaying signs of recovery. Over subsequent weeks, my lawn exhibited a remarkable improvement, boasting healthier, greener grass. Scotts DiseaseEx proves its mettle by effectively combating a diverse range of lawn diseases, providing reassurance for maintaining a lush, disease-free lawn. Ease of Use Utilizing Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide is a straightforward process. Packaged in a user-friendly 10-pound bag, the granules are easy to handle and apply. Employing a standard lawn spreader, I found that the granules dispersed evenly without clumping, ensuring uniform coverage across the lawn. Clear and concise instructions provided on the bag streamline the application procedure, simplifying the process even for those with limited experience in lawn care. For optimal results, it's advisable to apply the product when the grass is dry and follow up with a light watering to activate the fungicide. Coverage and Longevity One of the standout features of Scotts DiseaseEx is its extensive coverage, with a single 10-pound bag capable of treating up to 5,000 square feet of lawn area. This generous coverage makes it suitable for medium to large lawns, providing cost-effective treatment options. Additionally, the product's longevity is commendable, offering sustained protection against fungal diseases for up to 4 weeks. This extended efficacy reduces the necessity for frequent applications, ultimately saving both time and effort while ensuring consistent disease control. Environmental and Safety Considerations While Scotts DiseaseEx is potent in combating lawn diseases, it's imperative to handle it with care to mitigate potential risks. The product label includes comprehensive safety instructions, emphasizing the importance of wearing protective gear such as gloves during application and practicing thorough hand hygiene afterward. Scotts DiseaseEx is formulated to be safe for use on lawns, posing minimal risk to grass when applied correctly. However, exercising caution to keep pets and children off treated areas until the grass has been watered and thoroughly dried is essential to ensure safety. Value for Money Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide offers exceptional value for its price point. The extensive coverage and long-lasting efficacy justify its cost, presenting a cost-effective solution for maintaining a healthy, disease-resistant lawn. Compared to alternative fungicides, Scotts DiseaseEx delivers consistent results, making it a worthwhile investment for homeowners seeking reliable disease control. Its ability to combat a broad spectrum of lawn diseases coupled with the convenience of less frequent applications renders it a prudent choice for comprehensive lawn care. Overall In summary, Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide stands as a dependable and effective solution for controlling and preventing lawn diseases. Its ease of use, generous coverage, and sustained efficacy make it an invaluable asset for homeowners striving to cultivate a vibrant, disease-free lawn. While adherence to safety precautions is paramount, the tangible results observed in my lawn underscore its efficacy and reliability. For individuals grappling with lawn diseases or aiming to preemptively safeguard against them, Scotts DiseaseEx emerges as a steadfast choice that delivers on its promises.

Great product but was cheaper along time ago.
Size: 5,000 sq. ft.
I recently tried out the Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide, and I have to say, it's another winner from the trusted Scotts Lawn brand. As someone who has relied on Scotts products for over a decade, I can attest to their consistent quality and effectiveness, and this fungicide is no exception. First and foremost, the performance of this product is outstanding. It effectively controls and prevents lawn diseases for up to four weeks, ensuring that my lawn stays healthy and vibrant throughout the growing season. Whether it's dealing with common issues like brown patch, dollar spot, or powdery mildew, this fungicide gets the job done reliably. One of the things I appreciate most about Scotts products is their affordability without compromising on quality. While it's true that prices have gone up over the years, I still find that Scotts offers great value for the results it delivers. When it comes to protecting my lawn from disease and maintaining its lush green appearance, I'm willing to invest in a product that I know I can trust. Another aspect of Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide that I appreciate is its ease of use. The granular formula is simple to apply with a spreader, and it's compatible with most lawn types, including Bermuda, zoysia, and fescue. Plus, it's rainproof within hours of application, so I don't have to worry about it washing away before it has a chance to work its magic. Longevity is another key feature of this fungicide. The fact that it provides protection for up to four weeks means that I don't have to reapply it constantly, saving me time and effort in the long run. It's a convenient solution for busy homeowners like myself who want to keep their lawn healthy without spending hours on maintenance. Overall, I highly recommend the Scotts DiseaseEx Lawn Fungicide to anyone looking for an effective and affordable solution to lawn diseases. With its proven performance, trusted brand reputation, and ease of use, it's a product that delivers results you can count on. Give it a try, and see the difference it makes in keeping your lawn looking its best!

It Works, Buy Extra
Size: 5,000 sq. ft.
I had one bag (5K sq. ft.) but I'm afraid I only had enough for a portion of my front yard so I selectively spread it. I followed the spreading instructions using the handheld Scott's Whizz therefore I gave 1-Star for value. Scott's advertising 5,000 sq. ft. is bogus at best, it wasn't even close. 4 bags may get the job done. I previously spread two bags in my back & side yards and barely made it. However, the results proved to be very good. After plenty of very dry weather we finally got some rain and the treated lawn is coming back, the brown spots, some severe, are filling in nicely. The lawn is a Kentucky Bluegrass & Tall Fescue blend. The front yard, which I also watered but went untreated, is not coming back as fast even with some heavy rain. This product is moderately priced but when you consider the spreading distance I discussed above it rises exponentially. However, the results are in, the treatment has allowed the lawn to recover.

Worked on my fungus areas quickly
Size: 5,000 sq. ft.
I live in the south and have centipede grass. Hot & humid a lot. We get these 4-8 foot dead circles in our yards. Once I found this product, thought I'd give it a try. Applied as directed and did it again 15 days later. It worked. Started seeing a difference in a month. Centipede is hard to start by seed, so it took a while for that. Used a bag of Scott's cheapest grass to see some results. Brown, dead spots are gone. I keep a bag handy.
