My motto when it comes to gardening is “next year will be better”. First year plowed up the yard where the previous owner said a garden had been years prior. No weed barrier just tilled after plowing. It was terrible. Second year cheap and old weed barrier that rotted away and weeds just pushed up and through. Third year this stuff and oh my what an improvement. I didn’t need to burn holes like some have said. Scissors to make holes where I wanted plants. Can walk in the garden right after heavy rains no problem. Definitely worth it. Covered my 30’ x 30’ with more left over. I did mulch some with straw/hay.

I bought this to use in my garden and it was not very good. It’s looking like it’s not even going to make it to actually be used for that purpose. I had purchased two rolls. One roll had some issues with holes in it. The next thing that is wrong with this is the amount of staples they give you there is nowhere near the amount of staples that you need to actually secure this to the ground if you are using it in a garden type scenario, I had used two extra boxes of staples that I had at the house and the wind was still ripping this thing out of the ground, and then when the wind does that, it also starts to unravel the woven technology from it as . In reality, if you’re using it for a garden, you should probably have one of those metal steaks every 6 inches unless you are somewhere where wind doesn’t often happen. Also, from my pictures you can see that the water does not like to penetrate this material which in the description it also says that it would be able to do that and it won’t. They also have a recommendation of overlapping this material like 1 foot which would severely cut down and give you less product in my area and for my purpose this was completely fast advertisement. In my opinion most of mine have been ripped out of the ground by wind and I assume that every year this issue would happen and would continuously make me purchase this product every year for the same purpose for my garden which I’m not going to do. Amazon gave me a full refund on my product after I had called them and asked about the process on how to return this item since it had been used and has been not so great now on the other hand if you’re using this for landscaping purposes where you’re putting sand or mulch over top of it I think it would do all right and it would be fine, but there is other reports and reviews on this particular product that we still was able to go through that

This is first time I have used this for my garden and it was simple to handle. So far all looks good, but time will tell how it holds up to my needs by the end of my garden season. I am using it for weed control and keep ground moist. When looking to see if this will work, I watched the video of how to cut this material since if not careful it will separate since it is a weave and if you follow the video and tape before cutting all was fine and no separation.
