No complicated mixing – just connect to your hose and spray with the QuickFlip hose-end sprayer. Controls major broadleaf weeds, including dandelion, chickweed, knotweed, plantain, clover, mallow, purslane and many others as listed. Treats up to 7,500 square feet of lawn. Spray Spectracide Weed & Feed 20-0-0 any time during the growing season when weeds are actively growing. Thoroughly water your lawn one to two days before treating, but avoid watering within 24 hours after applying for best results. If certain tough weeds are not dead within three weeks, spot treat. It will take about 20 minutes to empty the bottle, although actual treatment time will vary depending on water pressure. Includes the QuickFlip hose-end sprayer for activation at the flip of a switch. This sprayer makes it simple to stop and start spray while you’re treating your lawn – just grip, flip and go!

I followed the directions to the letter. After a couple of days I noticed the dandelions wilting. After a couple of weeks my lawn was much greener. Then at about the 4 week point, I noticed the clover and plantain was pretty much gone. I assumed the weeds would turn brown and the die off would be fast, but it isn't. I was skeptical at first but decided to try it. Within 9 days, my lawn looked %100 better. All dandilions died. At least half of the clovers also died. The lawn grew so fast and very thick. Just know that I do a lot of watering! (The brown spots in the pictures are new seeds. Disregard)

I had a major chickweed problem. There was more weed than grass. I used this and in 3 weeks the chickweed was deeeeeaaaddd! Note-this does not kill it instantly. 1) apply to yard 2) wait 2 weeks and then reapply with a second coating This stuff did not kill my grass double yay! This method of distributing the product may not be the best but it sure is the easiest. A few months ago I sprayed my yard with Weed & Feed and most of the weeks died but it took a second spraying to completely get rid of them. The applicator works far better than the one Scott's uses. That's the best thing I can say. I applied this five days ago. I have seen some greening - a plus - but nothing striking. Clover, plantain and a few other odd weeds died off within three days. However, this product does not kill crabgrass or nutsedge. In fact, it seems to have promoted the growth of both. An herbicide that doesn't kills crabgrass is close to useless. Now I need to lay down Ortho Nutsedge Killer which I know also kills crabgrass, ... show more

I have used several types of weed and feed's with great success. With this spray on weed and feed no so much. I sprayed it on my backyard Fescue Grass and it proceeded to turn it yellow like it was killing it. I will say that the weeds I was trying to kill are thriving. I watered the lawn heavily for several weeks and most of the lawn has started to come back though there are several dead areas. I wouldn't recommend using this product unless you have used it before with success or unless you like the dead look. ... show more
