I used this once and the next day it wouldn't heat up at all or even light up. It just died. Amazon refunded my $$ so I'm happy, but now I have to find another wax melter...... don't recommend this brand at all, although I will say that the teflon lining was wonderful for getting all the wax out when it was hot, and it was super convenient to have the spigot to pour the wax vs dipping it out into a pouring container which is really messy. So the design is great, but there's something defective in the product for it to die for no reason whatsoever. ... show more

Lid does not fit the pot. It doesnt sit down on it and if you flip it there is a big gap. Does melt wax real fast.

    • Good value, huge time saver!
I read many reviews before purchasing this wax melter. Since, it was my first one, I had always used a double boiler method, I wanted to start small. I was looking for a pot that melted 5-10 lbs. This pot is supposed to melt 7 lbs., the reviews were decent, and the price was great. I have now used it 4 times and I'm not disappointed at all. It holds 6 lbs., not 7, however, it still quickly and easily melts a full pot of wax in about 30-45 minutes. It is very easy to get the wax out, just turn the spout on and fill your container, I recommend placing the pot so that the spout is over your sink, if possible, there will be a few residual drips after turning it off and that makes clean up easier. There is only a small amount of wax left at the bottom that will need to be poured out, the spout can't really be placed any lower to avoid this, so even though that has been a review complaint, I don't think it's design flaw. The only drawback, watch your temperature closely, there are heat settings, however, it gets hotter than what it is set for. As long as you are prepared and have your thermometer close by, this isn't really an issue. But, definitely not a set it and forget it option, ha! Lastly, it is very easy to clean, just wipe it out while it's still warm and it looks brand new! ... show more

If I could give this product zero stars, I would. I am so upset right now I am a candlemaker and I purchased this item. It warmed up once beautifully worked amazing and then the second time I went to turn it on it would not turn on. I have wax that has hardened in the pot that I cannot get out. I’ve wasted my time, my money, and I have a bulk order that I need to get out and I have nothing to warm my wax. I asked for a replacement to be sent. They sent the replacement, and it did the exact same thing. It warmed up once and then the second time I went to turn it on nothing, I called their customer service line who is not actually the customer service for the company it’s a resource center and they tell you that the company will reach out by email because they do not have a phone number and will let you know what they plan to do! ... show more

You have to assemble it completely. I am not happy. Haven't used it yet since I'm still putting it together. I have bad eye sight and would not have purchased if I knew I had to assemble. Gosh I hope it works.

I order this. And it came without screws to attach legs and I ordered this in October 3, 2023 and December 12, 2023 it quit working. DO not buy this. It’s no good
