We call this a Rope Jack and I have wanted one for a long time. Now that I have it.......... and have been able to tackle a number of trees I couldn't in the past.......... I love it. This jack works really well and has ample power for any normal operation. Could you bend it up? I suspect you could but you'd need to be a gorilla to do so. For the regular Joe in an regular situation............ this is a great tool. AND, the rope that comes with is a proper match, holds the sprocket well and I suspect will last for generations. Great value for the money! Highly Recommended.

Haven't used it yet but I work for a tree company and use this type of rope hoist a lot seems to be just as good of quality as theirs..other then rope having cuts in it

Review of 3/4 Ton Puller. Pro's: It costs less and comes with 100 feet, twice as much rope as the M____d brand rope puller. Con's: Close copy of better known brand, but lesser quality, does not operate smoothly, especially the pawl spring. I could not make this release tension easily. The rope was installed backwards. The instructions had good pictures but hard to understands words. I liked the price $64 as compared to the better known alternative, $79 and also got twice as much rope (100 ft). It did ratchet and pull the load but when I tried to release the load smoothly it was very hard. Bought the competitor to compare and it is smoother, returned this Vevor 3/4 Ton model. They should QC this before shipping, the rope was inserted backwards, hard to tell and had to fix before operating.

its decent and has a very long range of pull with the rope. the other ones with cables are 8 feet at best.

Product not functional since rope assembled in reverse. Correctable but not trust inspiring. Also, manual states not for lifting or hoisting. That needs to be in the product description (pre sale). And, despite this being a prime order, for some non sensical reason all provided return options require me to provide the box even so the original box arrived damaged. Really?

Used to pull several small trees and shrubs. Works like a champ. Much easier than a come-a-long which has a limited pull length.
