Pretty good. The first few days I was having trouble controlling the temperature. I'd set it to 35 to 37F and everything would freeze. It just didn't turn off. The LCD screen would say 55 to 59F. Customer support by email was responsive within 24 hours but the problem resolved itself in a couple days without help from Vevor. It's been working perfectly for the last couple weeks. Pros: Interior LED light Pretty quiet. Sounds like any refrigeration unit. Solidly built Efficient Uses very little electricity Metal case feels quality built Side handles are very sturdy Came with 12 volt cord and 110 volt to 12 volt adapter Alpicool bluetooth app control not perfect but works surprisingly well Cons: It takes longer to cool than my other 12 volt fridge There is no compressor startup delay circuit Warranty? The fridge appears to be made by a manufacturer that makes generic fridges for many companies who simply put their name on it. Not sure if the seller will or will not stand behind the fridge beyond 30 days. Parts might not be easily available if at all. Vevor would not answer that question. I typically update reviews that people find useful especially if I run into problems or a product works far better than expected. I purchased this during the Amazon Prime Days so I got it for a great price. even without the sale it's only around $235 for a 53qt portable fridge and that is a great price when you compare it to others out there. It holds temperature rather well and always stayed within 3 degrees of where I set it. On a recent 4 day trip, I had it set for 38 degrees and ran it 24x7 from my Jeep. It was plugged into my Anker generator and the generator was plugged into my vehicle. All day it ran while we were out driving the trails powered by the Jeep but each night it ran off the Anker 535. It would use about 25% of the battery from about 7 pm when we parked it until about 8 am when we started out again for the day. I like the finish and controls on the this fridge and the free Aplicool APP is good for monitoring it and adjusting temps as you desire but it needs to be restarted every so often as it sometimes hangs up on the "Current Temp" setting providing inaccurate information. The fridge works perfectly, it's just the APP that misleads you. Overall this is a great product that I hope will have a long life but it's too soon for me to comment on that yet. The packaging was excellent and it shipped out very quickly. The look of the fridge is nice and clean but the power brick is a little large, would have loved it if it did not need one. The supplied car charger cord is a very long and that's nice to reach the back of my truck bed when I need to. Only thing I would like to see the company add is a waterproof cover so I can leave it in the bed of the truck running without having to worry if it rains out of the blue. ... show more

After doing a lot of comparison shopping on all similar coolers listed on Amazon. I went with this one and I'm really glad I did. One of the first things I noticed, even before considering this unit, was that it was the only one given an "A" rating on Fakespot. Meaning all the reviews were real and honest. So I felt comfortable in getting the same satisfaction with this product as other reported. I was also very impressed with the performance of this unit. I was amazed at how fast it cooled down and how quiet it is! I plugged it into an AC outlet and after 3 mins it was getting cold already. After letting it run 20 minutes, it was ice cold. I noted the tempurature before starting and I calculated it to be cooling at one degree every 40 seconds! I also did another test using the DC connection (all electrical connections come with the unit). The DC mode took a bit longer, but thats to be expected. It is important to note the compresser will need to run about six minutes before you start to see the temperature going down. The starting temperature was 68 degrees (room temp) to start. In 10 minutes it dropped to 64 degrees. Another 10 minutes brought it to 46 degrees and the final 10 minutes got the temperature to 32 degrees (you can set this lower). So it dropped 36 degrees in 30 minutes. Pretty good, I'd say. The power usage was 48 watts while running. After it attained the desired temp, it only kicked on for about a minute every 20 minutes. Its super quiet too. Another thing I noticed that was not in the description, but might come in handy. The hinges and door chain are interchangeable so that you can easily change the opening direction of the lid. Meaning if there are space constraints while tailgating, for example, you can put the long side into your vehicle and still conveniently access opening the lid. Overall its a great cooler and everything it claims to be. I'm glad this company hasn't resorted to fake reviews like so many others. If you purchase this unit, I hope you consider leaving a review to reward honest companies. ... show more

    • How can I get the unit working or replaces?

I just got around checking my Vevor Port. refrig. (BD45) out for a fishing trip to Alaska. Using both 12 vdc and 120 vac the unit does not work. The unit stays at what ever the current ambient/local room temp happens to be ( 55, 65 degrees)! I can sellect any temp. (10. 30 or whatever degrees) and unit will not go to that temp. The compressor runs but the temp will not go the selected temp. Help!! I need a unit to keep my fish frozen. As a not, when I received unit the box had been opened and resealed and the unit cover was dented in several places. I no longer have the shipping box. Mike/Carolyn Somogyi ... show more
