So far so good with this machine. This is our FOURTH pellet ice machine in the last 3 years. None of them have lasted more than a year. Right after the warranty expires, of course! We’ve had this one a few months now and it has been working very well. It’s pretty quiet. No louder than any other ice maker we’ve had. Adding the water is very easy, as you just pour it right into the bottom of the machine. I don’t even have to pull the basket out and drip water everywhere. We have been using only bottled distilled water in hopes that it’ll help this one last longer. It makes ice quickly and recirculates the water as it melts. We’re a family of 6 and as long as we stay on top of keeping the tank filled, we never run out! It was much cheaper than a few others we’ve purchased and it seems to be working as well, if not better than the more expensive ones. I’ll update in a year if it’s still working. lol

UPDATE: QUIT AFTER 2 MONTHS. JUST STARTED MAKING A LOUD NOISE AND STOPPED MAKING ICE. WE TRIED EVERYTHING INCLUDING CLEANING, DRAINING, TAKING APART, ETC. GOOD WHILE IT LASTED, BUT THAT IT WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR A 2 MONTH EXPERIENCE. ENDED UP HAVING TO TRASH IT AND BUY A DIFFERENT ONE. WE'LL SEE HOW THAT GOES. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE THAD THIS ISSUE AND ONCE IT STOPS, IT NEVER WORKS AGAIN. ONLY RETURNABLE FOR 30 DAYS UNLESS YOU GET THE WARRANTY WHICH IS TOO EXPENSIVE. Makes the most perfect chewable ice!! Or shall I say MADE. As it only worked about 2 weeks. Sent request for trouble shooting help. Waiting on that email. Will update when issue is resolved. **update currently feeling like I’m getting the run a round as the emails just keep asking questions about parts that I have no idea about. Not getting anything resolved ***update. They sent me a new one and it is working great. If you are a soft ice lover you will seriously love this machine!! It’s THE BEST soft ice ever. It will harden after sitting in the machine awhile so I just open the door to get it to kick back on and I have a fresh cup of ice with in a short time. *** UPDATE to the update. The new machine worked great for about 6 months and one day just stopped making (the wonderful amazing)ice (just like the first machine). Now they told me they would pay $40 to get it repaired locally. I called all around to local repair shops and no one will work on it. So I guess I’m just out of luck. So DISAPPOINTED!!

I wish there was an option for zero stars First the product: This is now the 3rd one of these ice makers that has failed. They are obviously from the same Chinese manufacturer and vendors are just putting their name on them. Not a single one has lasted the warranty period. They have all failed in various ways. They typically work great for a while. I love having the pellet ice and they make a good supply quickly… when they work. After a few months they start making horrible noises (like fingernails on a chalkboard at ear splitting volume) or leaking all over the kitchen or just stopping all together. Then for the vendor, Vevor. If you choose to buy their products, don’t expect much if something goes wrong. They have declined to honor their warranty. They did ship a defective replacement which failed after 2 days and then suggested I find a local resource to fix it or just have Amazon return the product. This is NOT an Amazon issue, it’s their product and they should either replace or repair it as many times as it takes within the warranty rather than just washing their hands of it like they have. Amazon has generously offered to refund the purchase of the device and the warranty purchased and I sincerely hope this negatively affects Vevor. (I’m sure Amazon has a way to charge this back to Vevor)
