I attached this to my wall behind my cabinet since the cabinet had a weak back wall of skinny particle board. The holes in the rail were too wide to fit my wall's 2x4 studs. So I had to attach a 1x1 board horizontally and secured it to the studs. Then I attacked the rail mount to the 1x1. The operation of the rail mount is excellent. It has a remote and a wired remote. So you'll never have to worry about the battery remote not working. You can set the height exactly where you want it. It's quiet and I can hide my TV when not using it. So far I love it. It's exactly what I wanted to hide our TV.

The media could not be loaded. It took two of us to manage assembly. The mechanism is very heavy. Instructions were picture only and the drawings were tiny. Had to redo a couple of steps because of tiny pictures. Some parts were loose in the box like screws and nuts. I read reviews that said there were no preset stops for height but the remote has a simple up-stop-down button. It is extremely easy to use. Our tv is a 43 and it was plenty strong enough to hold it. I’d recommend this unit if you want an inexpensive tv lift. Moto feels strong. I mounted the stand on a 24” round piece of wood. I wasn’t building a cabinet and I didn’t want screws in my floor. As a result we can not only raise and lower the tv but swivel it as well. My wood platform is plenty sturdy. Make sure yours is if you do not screw it to the floor. We regained the use of a window on our sunporch as a result of being able to lower the tv. Mission accomplished. I am vey happy with the mechanism and would buy it again at the bargain price I got on Prime days..

Pros : Quiet - it is virtually silent. you will not be able to hear the tv stand going up or down. Cheap Cons: No memory function on remote - it comes with a wired control panel with memory position functionality. However the remote does not have this functionality. Remote has a stop, up , and down button. Click the directional button once and the stand will continue in that direct until the stop button is clicked. Remote is a radio frequency which likely means it will not be able to be programmed with universal remotes. Installation instructions -English written instructions are incomprehensible. Had to use the pictures only to learn how to build the stand. The picture off the Amazon posting also helped. Summary : This is a good tv stand. Works well. Quiet. Good speed. The written instructions are very confusing and basically useless. Remote has no memory function. I don’t regret getting this tv stand but likely would spend the extra money and get a tv stand that has memory functionality on the remote.

I designed and built a Computer desk where dual 21" monitors lift up out of the desk top surface. Looking back, I ordered a Vevor lift incorrectly, Customer service was helpful in taking that one back and shipping out a different lift immediately. Of course plastic was used in expediting this service. You need to know in advance (pre-order) how high you want your TV or monitor to go to. To do this, you need to take into consideration measurements of your screen (TV or monitor/s) total height, fastener mount position on the back of your screen, measure from the total desired elevated position to the fastening point on the Vevor lift. If your unsure its best to place the screen where you'd want it at its highest point, and then measure down to the mounting position on the Vevor lift. Example: VEVOR Motorized TV Lift Stroke Length 39.4 Inches Motorized TV Mount Fit for 32-70 Inch TV Lift with Remote Control Height Adjustable 28.74-68.11 Inch,Load Capacity 154 Lbs Fully collapsed or lowered, your lift and screen needs to be concealed under or inside your cabinet or desk. In the example description above, it gives you the total lowered height (Control Height Adjustable) of 28.74" that means your lift (by itself) will be 28.74" from the base to top of the lift. If your working a project with a cabinet height of 30" to the top, your screen may not completely be concealed once lowered. Which is why its important to know where the mounting position is on your screen. From 28.74" this lift will elevate (or raise) 39.4" further. So the 68.11" is actually the total height from the BASE of the Vevor lift itself. From bottom to top, completely raised. With this understanding, choose carefully, the lift that meets your needs both fully lowered and fully elevated as they come in a variety of sizes. Allow for some minor adjustments from oversight. If your lifting something heavy you should also look at the weight rating for the lift you selected, before ordering. In the above example, it is rated for 154 lbs. In the end, I have a cool desk, with an epoxy poured 3.6 feet by 6 feet long and when fully lowered, looks like a dinning table. I have the ability to lift my monitors well beyond my desired elevated height. Not intended. Just have to remember to stop it. I'm not using the included wired lift controller, only the remote. My project was a huge success, but the learning points about the lift, I'll pass on to you. Vevor sells a really good motorized lift system. Packaged very well. Took a bit longer to receive than usual. Very little assembly involved. Lots of mounting options for your screens included. I used the 4 point vesa system on the back of my monitors. The Vevor kit came with enough hardware for me to mount both my monitors with ease. Had to drill a few holes but didn't have to buy any additional brackets or hardware. I hope this knowledge helps you find the right lift for your project. Good luck on your project!!!

This comes with a very bad tv mount and even worse instructions. Claims to come with “universal mount” but only comes with a single set of screws. I’ve probably mounted at least a dozen TVs in the last few years and every mount always comes with myriad screws, spacers, washers, etc. Because while VESA patterns are universal, the actual holes are not. The instructions are just as bad. Extremely poorly designed “diagrams” with no instructions other than “install X on Y”. The instructions are to be expected at this point as Amazon sells cheap products from abroad but just fork over the extra dollars from a known brand. Luckily I keep spare screws and spacers from past mounts so I’ll be able to make it work but this product is absolutely not worth your time
