This shelving looks and feels sturdy, while the shelves themselves are easy to adjust. The rotating mechanism works smoothly with no catches. Way too heavy for what it is. Impossible to put together, literally. There's nothing holding it together during the assembly process, and one of the steps calls for flipping it upside down and then back over again. It will come apart and get damaged while trying to do this. Don't bother with it.

I love this DVD/Blu-ray carousel display! I've been needing to put my little collection out for use & make it easy to search, but also without taking up a lot of room. Its currently around 140 DVD/Blu-rays on each side, about 560 total I was able to make it hold eith through adjustable shelves. * The last step of the instructions can be confusing, putting the rotator board on. Put the board side with just the (2) holes facing you to screw through them & then rotate to install the remaining (2) screws. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My box had a little damage to it, but none of the pieces inside were damaged. This thing is heavy, which does not always translate to sturdy, but in this case it does. As some of the others have noted, there are not enough selves to configure the unit to hold the maximum number of CDs. I can get about 28 CDs in a compartment and there are 30 compartments, that is over 800 CDs. I only have a bit more than 400, and I tried to make each side as even as possible when it came to the shelves. This let me have 8 shelves on 3 of the 4 sides, leaving a larger space at the bottom which is great for those box sets that came in taller cases. You can see a couple of those in the video. I have a lot of DVDs and Blurays, and this will allow me to take some of the special versions that come in the odd size boxes and put them here and free up room for more discs in that storage unit. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for my laser discs. If I had to complain about anything, I would say that some of the directions were not clear. There is are no text instructions, and a few of the pictures are less than clear. I also thought that the holes drilled for the wooden dowels were too deep and that the dowel didn't stick out far enough for my liking, so I back filled those holes and used wood glue so that the dowels protruded to the point where I felt that the other piece had a good grip on it, but that is just me. Could be easier to build, Definitely requires two people. It's build is sturdy, it spins easily, it does require a good amount of space though. If your looking for a space to store the hundreds upon hundreds of dvds/cds you've collected over the years... This rack will more than suffice. It will happily accommodate 500+ dvds. ... show more

Final product looks good and feels sturdy. Build was as expected for something like this. Took me about 90 min solo. Only losing 1 star because the box was beat up and the corner of a couple pieces in that area of the box were beat up as well. Maybe more UPS fault than the seller.
