this is a good cabinet, a lot of storage in a small space. it should be packaged is two boxes as it is very heavy. a couple panels had small dents where it had been dropped or otherwise mishandled in transit probably due to weight. look the drawings over closely in the instructions and you should be okay. there are no written instructions. you'll need help to flip it upside down to install the bottom and then upright it, unless you're a lot younger than i am.

Way too heavy for what it is. Impossible to put together, literally. There's nothing holding it together during the assembly process, and one of the steps calls for flipping it upside down and then back over again. It will come apart and get damaged while trying to do this. Don't bother with it.

There's numerous versions of this type of thing, if you can get an all wood one, you'll probably find that this is actually the cheapest. Sus for that reason? Eh, maybe at first. So I always check reviews first. Ordered it and while the box was a little bit marked up from shipping, it was packaged well enough that nothing inside was remotely damaged or not as it should be. Note, heavier than you probably think. Almost 90 lbs. Definitely recommend 2 people unless you're genuinely really strong. OK, assembly. Not nearly as hard as I'd expected. Pop up the tall sides, screw together, attach top & bottom, add spinning base and after that you just arrange the shelves with endless pegs however best works for your needs. If you are wanting it solely for CD's and only CD's and nothing else (ie, games, DVD's, etc) then admittedly they should have given about 4-8 more shelves, but if you're like me and it's for a mix of games, movies and CD's, then there's plenty enough space and shelves here. Ultimately if you're after something of this nature, get this and save money over the more costly very similar one's. This will suffice for most people interested in it.

This shelving looks and feels sturdy, while the shelves themselves are easy to adjust. The rotating mechanism works smoothly with no catches. The weight when it came in was 90.5 ish lbs so it took a little bit longer to assemble it by myself, but otherwise easy to follow instructions. It definitely fit more than we were expecting and still have plenty of room for additions.

Could be easier to build, Definitely requires two people. It's build is sturdy, it spins easily, it does require a good amount of space though. If your looking for a space to store the hundreds upon hundreds of dvds/cds you've collected over the years... This rack will more than suffice. It will happily accommodate 500+ dvds.

My box had a little damage to it, but none of the pieces inside were damaged. This thing is heavy, which does not always translate to sturdy, but in this case it does. As some of the others have noted, there are not enough selves to configure the unit to hold the maximum number of CDs. I can get about 28 CDs in a compartment and there are 30 compartments, that is over 800 CDs. I only have a bit more than 400, and I tried to make each side as even as possible when it came to the shelves. This let me have 8 shelves on 3 of the 4 sides, leaving a larger space at the bottom which is great for those box sets that came in taller cases. You can see a couple of those in the video. I have a lot of DVDs and Blurays, and this will allow me to take some of the special versions that come in the odd size boxes and put them here and free up room for more discs in that storage unit. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for my laser discs. If I had to complain about anything, I would say that some of the directions were not clear. There is are no text instructions, and a few of the pictures are less than clear. I also thought that the holes drilled for the wooden dowels were too deep and that the dowel didn't stick out far enough for my liking, so I back filled those holes and used wood glue so that the dowels protruded to the point where I felt that the other piece had a good grip on it, but that is just me. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
