I’ll be honest—changing tires by hand has always been a chore I dreaded. Wrestling with beads, sweating it out, and sometimes even damaging rims along the way. That’s why I decided to try the VEVOR Manual Tire Changer, and let me just say, it has completely changed the game in my garage. Right out of the box, the build felt solid—heavy-duty steel that I could tell was going to hold up over time. Assembly was straightforward, and once it was bolted down, it was rock solid. I’ve already used it on a mix of car and trailer tires ranging from 13” to 16”, and the bead breaker worked surprisingly well. I expected to still have to jump on it or use a cheater bar, but nope—it popped those beads with far less effort than I thought it would take. The mounting and dismounting process is where this tool really shines. Once I got the hang of positioning the tire and using the lever arm, it was much quicker than trying to muscle things by hand. It did take me a couple of tries to get the technique smooth, but after that, it was a breeze. I can swap a tire in a fraction of the time it used to take me. One thing I really appreciate is the versatility. I’ve used it on car tires, truck tires, and even trailer tires without issue. For a home garage like mine, it’s the perfect balance of being portable yet sturdy enough to handle real work. Ive changed many a tire over the years always using bars and screw drivers and such. Today I used this tool for the first time and cant believe how well it worked on my lawn mower tire size 26x12x12. I didnt have it mounted to the floor which made it a little more challenging but it was still way faster than hand tools. I bought a new set of tires online, started doing that 2 sets of tires ago, then I usually go to Walmart and have them mount and balance them for $60, which is about half than any other chain tire place around. My truck is an 89 F250 with original steel stock rims with tire size 235/85/16. I bought this to save myself an extra $45 per set (I have multiple vehicles so it would have paid for itself multiple times over if it worked), so I would just pay for balancing until there is a better bubble balancer, or I get lucky with a used computerized balance machine. Build quality: The welds look like 10 yr old slave labor quality, I could do better with a tube of JB weld... The paint is sloppy with dried drips. Despite buying new, there were scuffs and scratches indicating it was a used return. The pry arm end is rough instead of smooth so it scuffed the rim edge real bad (don't buy if you care about your wheels). I decided to make a wood based stand and added some weight plates to hold it in place when prying, because while I put it together I thought I would have had to return it because of one of the welds breaking (which didn't happen, knock on wood), which is why I opted not to drill anchor holes in my concrete floor. The bead breaker did not work for me, I ended up driving over the tire with my other truck to break the bead, it was on there REAL GOOD, LoL. When I used the prybar end that this unit comes with it transferred some of the red paint and scratched the crap out of my rim, ended up wedging a wood shim between the bar and the rim to prevent damage all around. For the other side and other tires I barrowed my brother's tire prybars to finish the job. In the end I ended up not using this unit for the rest of the tires and just used tire prybars and my other truck to break the beads and remove the old tires. Then went to Walmart to have them balance them. ALSO PRO tip, if you have junk tires you need to get rid of but don't want to pay a dump $10-15 per tire disposable, take to Walmart, they only charge $2/tire. ... show more

Ordered because I needed to replace some trailer tires on my boat and motorcycle trailer. Local tire shops wanted 35 bucks to mount the tires each. This tire changer came yesterday. I put it together. ( took longer to get it out of the box) I also installed a duck head attachment that cost $25.00 additional. (Well worth the investment.) Very sturdy unit. Set up quick and easy. drilled 4 mounting hole in my garage with short anchors. The ones that come with are fine but I wanted to be able to move the changer out of the way when not going to be used. I also used this to break down my van tire as I needed to replace a TPMS sensor on one wheel that had quit sending a signal. Shops near me wanted $120.00 to remove and install a sensor and to R&R the tire. I bought the sensor on Amazon for about $17.00 and installed it. My vehicle only requires the sensor to be driven a few miles above 20mph to recognize it. I installed it on to my wheel drove and now my TPMS light is off. Done for less than $20.00 The product from Vevor is up to par. Would recommend. I dont do tires often. but with all my vehicles it was worth the money. I saved over $285.00 doing it myself after figuring in the cost of the tire changer, Duck head attachment, and the TPMS sensor. I also like the fact that if I need to do tire work I can do it at home. No wasted time going to a shop and waiting to have the work done or droping it off and having to go back and shag the car back home. The first tire took about 20 minutes to learn The other 7 took less than about 10 minuted each to remove, clean the rim, and mount the new tires. I already owned a balancing machine that has worked well for years. Update:01/21/26 After doing my second set of tires on my other vehicle on the third last tire the locating pin that holds the tire from turning durring the mount / Dis-mount process snapped. It broke directly at the weld. The weld looks like it was just a tack in two spots rather than a complete weld. I contacted Vevor and sent in pictures of the failure. They through Amazon are sening a replacement. I own other Vevor products and all have held up just fine. I think this was just an anomaly.Amyway great customer service from both Amazon and Vevor to make the situation right. ... show more

I have changed a handful of ATV tires and small 12” radius car tires. It is a workout but is effective. I have changed a few large ish jeep tires (33”OD) and had to use a duck head attachment that I got from lucid auto werks. With the duck head it worked well on the bigger tires

Easy to set up and dramatically reduces the pain of changing tires. What would have been an all-day project ended up taking around 40 minutes once I got the process down. For the price, I’m very pleased overall. I will note that the rim clamp can still scuff up wheels, even with dense cardboard used as protection. The threads for the rim clamp also arrived with paint, debris, and a few burrs that needed to be cleaned up before everything operated smoothly, but at this price point that wasn’t too surprising. I’ll definitely be purchasing an upgraded duck head and conical clamp in the future to help reduce the chances of scratching rims during installs. Even with those minor complaints, this tool has already proven to be well worth the money and has made tire work far more manageable at home. ... show more
