It does this fast and easily, and even has a small light on it to help you find the valve if it's dark outside. This gauge is far more accurate than my last digital gauge. This one measures in tenths, so it is precise. easy to activate and read and I like that it takes AAA batteries rather than those annoying coin batteries. It seems pretty sturdy but, time will tell.

I like the fact that it lights up which makes use even easier. It does record and show the PSI, which is why I purchased it. Not absolutely sure of the accuracy. Will take it with me to a tire shop to compare. Haven't done that yet. Stay tuned.

The AstroAI tire pressure gauge is well designed and very easy to use, as it should be. It appears to be accurate and it’s nice that the display and tip are lighted for use in any condition, day or night. The main reason I went with the AstroAI gauge is that is uses replaceable AAA batteries. I specifically bought this one because of the fact that it has AA batteries that are replaceable. Very simple to use and the readings I'm getting appear accurate. I was given nothing to write this review. Bought not one of these AstroAI tire gauges, but TWO. One for each car. I have been using pencil style pressure gauges most of my life. Been using 3 of them and taking the average between them. It's time to upgrade to a digital version and one using a more common battery than those button or disk batteries. The AstroAI's I bought use AAA batteries. My concern over this kind of gauge was how much air leak would occur when using it and how that would affect the pressure reading. Much to my surprise, the softer plastic around the tip seals the valve and there was no air leak at all. Not sure how that will last over time and repeated use, but the performance of this type of gauge was stunning for the $10 each gauge cost me. Another home run for AstroAI! This tire gauge is very accurate. I love the bright light on the tip of the stem valve thingy. It makes it very easy to find the stem on your tire in poorly lit areas.
