After some wear and tear the coating laminate will come off the lover is because they're not what they appear to be probably a whole bunch of metal composites mixed together, kind of like your big box store bikes, as far as reliability, damn snap in the pressure and they definitely make it easier to get my dirt bike tire off the rim, as far as those plastic inserts to pull the tire off It's useless for a thick dirt bike tire with dual casing, might as well use it for your MTB, In order to get a tire off faster, You're still going to scrape and scuff your wheel set no matter what, Even if you're the best in the business, You may Travis pastrana and you're still going to eventually scuff the rims, but I guess the job done but you do have to use all three levers, and lots of lubricant, hot water definitely helps with some dish detergent. ... show more

I was expecting these to be cheaply made, but good enough to do the job. However, I was very happily surprised! The tools & accessories seem to be great quality. I had a particularly stubborn tire to change and I really pressed hard on the spoons to get it in place. They worked great, and the rim protectors didn't even become marred in the process. Very nice! Bought these to change ATV tires. Did the job well, spoons are much sturdier than I expected. Didn’t want to bend at all. Valve stem tool is nifty, did not use the rim protectors yet.

They worked great for my dirt bike tires but beware if you are buying these to replace small tires like for a riding mower. Too much pressure and I had one of the plastic handles shatter and imbed razor sharp plastic in my hand. Wear gloves if your working on a stubborn tire.
