Sad that I can’t buy more coring bits when dull or different sizes. Very short drills are all you can use because head only goes so high even sliding the head up on the dovetail. CNC starter drills might be a good choice they are short. Core drills worked great with cutting oil, but the center pointer is very sloppy, very bad fit. ... show more

Does not accept Weldon 3/4" shank bits with two grooves. The Vevor unit has three balls that are used to lock the bit into the drill. So where does one get drill bits to fit thw Vevor???

This mag drill has truly impressed me, and made this technology available to somebody like me at home. In the past, these were always so expensive, and out of my reach, but the price point on this drill seems fairly reasonable for everything it does. It comes with a set of annular cutters, and an extra chuck for traditional drills. You definitely will not lose this drill due to its bright color, and I actually kind of like how it looks. The controls are easy to run, and the quality of them appears to be good enough for my needs. Just make sure you hook up the cooling apparatus, because this sucker can generate some real heat when drilling through a half inch or more of steel! My brother and I plan to make our own steel targets, and even thought about running a small business out of my shop. With the few test runs we’ve done I’ve been very encouraged that this would be attainable for us! The magnet works great, and the strap included is always a good idea in my opinion, not just when working from tall heights. If anything happens in the future, I’ll come back and edit this post, but for now keep using this awesome mag drill!! ... show more
