6th time using the boat after remodel and repower and the cable split. The unsafe part is that this was after pushing away from dock and then trying to go into reverse, the cable pushed out of the control box and was broken apart. The boat then launched forward into the dock damaging my Bimini top frame. These cables should not be purchased and not be tried. This cost me a new bimini repair and was dangerous! By the time I got control and back to the dock we were able to assess the issue and get an my kids to safety. Boat was 2 feet from going up the concrete ramp DO NOT BUY!!!
