This heats very evenly across the platen . I use it for T Shirts and it's really great for my air brush work that heat sets at 330f for 30 seconds. I only get a 2 degree drop. But at 375f for inkjet heat transfers it drops faster and more but the good news is press time only ranges from 12-15 seconds. If you do longer presses at say 385 you might want a press with more amps. But this one does me fine and some transfer only require 350f, it would be fine there. I haven't had a single failed pressing though, all transfers have come out great. On a 15 second press at 375 I bump the temp to 377, half way through its at 375 and it ends at 373. Edit: I'm using now HTVRONT HTV for the most part, and also Siser Stretch HTV and HTV Ront printable sheets for dark cloths in inkjet, which all can press at 325f or so. Works for me and my wife as well. We're doing Christian Tee Shirts and canvas carry bags etc. If I had a want from this press it would just be a sliding bed but we do fine without it. I had one fail with Easy Stretch but found a video that says their recommended heat setting is too low, to press it between 320 and 330f, not 305-315. I patched that shirt up and made a second one, so far so good. The HTVRont products have never failed as yet using this press. Edit #2: I have no idea how many press sessions we've had now with this press, never mind the number of items. 11 month in now. I just wanted to report that pretty much everything we do now is around 330f and medium pressure. Still using the HTV Ront htv on the Cricket and also their inkjet transfers. But had the opportunity to use something different on a longer press time. And while the temp started dropping it only went so far then climbed back up the other way, then the press time buzzer went off. Even medium press pressure is much higher than you could do by hand and you can notice the fabric weave in transfers so we're right where we want to be. We have done light, medium and hi pressure pressing at this point. All presses have held up very well. I don't know how long it will last but no complaints on ours, professional presses cost multi times more money than this . It's not doing anything weird yet.

I ended up returning the item due to the amount of space it took. I expected size due to 15x15 but, it was much bigger and bulkier than I expected and took up too much room in the space I have. I didn't feel comfortable working in the limited pad space while press was open and hot. Worked well though, no issues with functionality or anything. Just too big for my space.

So far I like everything about this heat press, but it's very hard for me to open when the time is up. Am I missing a step? I'm in the process of filling an order for 120 tote bags and my arm is so tired I have to take a break. This didn't happen on my swing away heat press.

I like it. It’s easy to use and came assembled, which was great! However, I’m not sure about the temperature setting. I’ve had to turn the heat way higher than the suggested temperature to press my shirts to perfection.

Tech has been somewhat helpful, however, unable to achieve even pressure with this unit, so only able to sublimate on the back half of the press. Items that we have been able to sublimate have turned out well. Just want to be able to use the full 15x15” press. UPDATE:Tech support stated they will replace unit with a new one and no need to return old one. Will update again after receiving it..

My wife recently started getting back into using her Cricut for crafts. This heat press gives her the ability to really crank out some t-shirts. We were going to get a smaller, cheaper unit but I'm so glad that we went with this one. The smaller units are OK for 1 or 2 shirts but if you have any more than that you need this machine. The only complaint I have is that it is fairly heavy (not bad) and the handles don't make it very easy to move from room to room. So, it's best to have a place for this press and leave it there.

Heats quickly and holds temperature pretty good. Easy to open and close, the pressure is easy to adjust, opens wide enough I don’t get burned on the plate. Does a great job with HTV.
