We decided to deal with vevor customer service to give them a chance to help with the product and they've been giving us the complete run around trying to run out our return window. We've provided all proof they've asked, as well as videos and photos. As small business owners our pennies mean a lot, so save yours and get something else! It was pretty straight-forward to set up. It's pretty much plug and go. It is a single heat plate at the top. We bought an infrared thermometer as we had heard from other people that they'd had temp issues with this one. When you turn it on (we started with it set at 280), it takes a few minutes to come up to temp, when it first tells you it's heated we took the temp and it was at 320. We waited for the temp to come down, which didn't take long, and it dipped all the way to 260. In order to get it anywhere near 280 we had to move it up to about 290. The heat would consistently go up to 320 and then back down to 260. There was no consistency to it at all. We will most likely be returning it as we don't want to damage materials and have a bunch of waste. If you intend on buying this, BUY AN INFRARED THERMOMETER to go with it.

The only reason I’m giving this four stars and not five is because I wish you could close it manually that way you could see where the heating pad is going to land on the hat aside from that it’s a great product. I haven’t had any issues at all in the two weeks that I’ve been using it it heats up super fast.If you are looking for an automatic heat press that works and you want to keep your budget low this is definitely the item for you. I would 100% recommend this to anybody who makes hats.

I have to tell you, this hat press from vevor is a sleeper…let me explain… There’s a lot of hat presses on Amazon and out there in the wild but this one is overlooked and under rated. First, the price point is very fair in terms of all the hyper kits out there that have a lot of things you may not need. This hat press leaves the pulling lever behind as it has an automated head that engages at the push of a button👀👀👀 and it releases increasing your production performance and taking it easy on your arms which is a great bonus. Its appearance is really sleek and portable and very modern with a turn dial led display. It also stands alone in the fact it offers 3 different platens for different size hat applications. It literally comes out of the box ready to press and get into those hat jobs! This is a great addition to the print shop :) Good to go!😎😎😎

After using it for the first hour of pulling it out of the box. It turned off and would not power on. Tried unplugging it and plugging back in but didn't work. There are no replaceable fuses on it. It just stopped working. So packed it back up and sent back. Could be I just got one of the few bad ones.
