This is a competently designed and well built chain hoist. The lift chain welds are full and consistent and the chain is coated with a graphite-like material that isn't messy. The hand chain is zinc plated and clean. Action is good and the pawl system looks solid and reliable. Biggest load I've lifted with this one ton unit is a fourteen hundred pound lathe. Did the job very smoothly. Don't take this review as a positive for Vevor in general. They import a lot of stuff from various China suppliers. Some like this hoist are very good values, some others not so good in my experience. ... show more
