I really like this wax melter so far. Since ordering in October I’ve made around 100 candles without one issue whatsoever. The heater is only on the bottom of the melter so don’t add all wax at once or it will take a while. The fastest way is if you start with 1000 grams it will fully melt with ease. Then add wax in 500 gram increments while stirring and the residual heat will melt it fast enough that it won’t clump. Once wax is full clear again with a minute of stirring repeat. Temperature is within 5° of set temp so that’s good. Dial labels look blurry in my pic and other reviews say they’re hard to read, but I think they’re easy to read. Works like magic. If I was to give a critique the heating unit on the bottom is C-shaped and on one side of the melter only so it’s hard to start with all your wax in the melter, so just start at small incitements until you get a nice wax pool established. The melter can only fit enough wax to make ~12, 8 ounce candles at a time, so if you’re a candle business that needs much larger quantities of candles this is not the melter for you. However, for someone like me who just likes making candles as a hobby and for Christmas gifts I’d highly recommend it. Also I tried this to melt soap ingredients and it worked fine. ... show more

Only had one month and six days and paid over $74 dollars for ToAuto wax melter. On November 26 ,2023. Was going to use wax melter, I added soy wax and turned on to melt, about 5 minutes it smelt like plastic burning and the bottom left side of melter turned black and it quit working. Also, they don’t give a working number to contact customer service to get the issue resolved by a replacement or refunded. DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more

I just started my small candle business and I used to use double boiler method. Double boiler actually very messy and time consuming too. This cute wax warmer actually super clean and time saver for me. I don't need to stand and watch the wax to melt and control the temperature. It has a temperature controller you just set it go do your thing and come back it's ready for you. Also it's not tall so you can able to see how much you have through the glass top. Size wise it meets my need. I don't use alot. It's perfect for beginners and for people who use it for your hobby. Ordered one for my girlfriend who started making candles. Turned it on once to make sure it worked and then left her to making her stuff. Then I checked on it and after my initial turn on, it completely stopped working and would no let turn on. Decided could have been a just bad luck, so I got a replacement. The replacement did work, for about 2 days before it completely stopped working like the first one. When it does work, it works well, but combined, it only last 3 days working. I only used it 2 times before it just decided to not pour out anymore wax. The temp gage isn't accurate. I was so excited thinking I was upgrading as a beginner candle maker buy now I have to drop this off for a refund cause what a waste of time and money. I bought this machine to make some holiday candles, but it stopped working after using it once. The only time I was able to use it, I was just testing it by turning it on and off.
