I love this! Worth every penny for my aging body (50yo). I have arthritis. It has become extremely difficult for me to lift heavy items and squat down or get on my knees to pull weeds. It carries all of my hand gardening tools. Even the bigger ones. It rolls so I’m not having to pick anything up. I’m able to just bend down a bit instead of being on the ground. Less trips to the garage because everything I have fits in it. It is also very easy to put together. I kind of wish it was easier to turn but that would have meant a much more difficult assembly process. I just slightly lift the front to turn it but that doesn’t seem to affect my painful back. Maybe because I don’t have to bend to do it. Plus the weight just goes on the back wheels. The cushion is pretty firm but that probably makes it easier to get up. Definitely worth the money. It is very sturdy. I haven’t had it but a few months but is is very well made and I think it will be very long lasting. And FYI for the larger bottomed folks, it is a nice larger size compared to the smaller ones I see out there. I greatly recommend. ... show more

I never knew these existed until I saw one being raffled off at a basket raffle, I had big ooohhs and aaahs when I saw it, obviously I did not win it! However I came to Amazon to see what I could find! Lo and behold here I am! I am extremely happy with this purchase, I am a 53 year old woman and I assembled this myself in about an hour. The only difficult part was tightening some of the bolts because there were awkward angles, I needed to use a ratchet and a wrench and it was not easy by myself with some of the angles. I saw some reviews that said it was difficult to steer, just have to make sure your front bolts aren't too tight. I also saw some reviews say the seat is too narrow for big people, i completely disagree... as someone who has a very large butt and has issues in seats I did not have any problems fitting on this seat! Pretty difficult to assemble. It has locking nuts and they are pretty tight...which was hard to do for my senior hands --but good for the long run. It's very sturdy, and I believe it will be quite durable. I think it will be great help in the garden.

    • Good overall quality, but the seat is too narrow for a larger person with the handles installed.
It was a bit of a bugger to put together but unlike what another reviewer said the hardware came in a cardboard backed shrink pack with all the parts divided according to use for each step. After assembling, I found the seat to be too narrow because the seat handles tilt in. I wound up removing the handles and that helped quite a bit. I would likely not use them because their location requires reaching over and around the top rail of the seat back so I would be using the seat back for balance when getting in and out of the seat anyway. The way the seat is designed I don't see how a larger person could sit in it, so the stated 400lb capacity doesn't sound right given someone who weighs half of that has difficulty sitting in it. The seatback doesn't have any padding so leaning back on it isn't comfortable, but most work using this garden seat will be leaning forward. The height adjustment screw seat stem does wobble a bit and is more noticeable the further up the seat is adjusted. If this was tighter as one reviewer tried to do, I'm concerned that it wouldn't swivel when stretching to reach during use. Not a deal breaker for me. Overall, it feels sturdy and I like the large pneumatic tires that will make it easier to roll over the large woodchip mulch on my garden paths. I like the storage bin underneath and the additional wire storage basket on the back. These bins plus the holster loops on the back of the seat will provide a lot of versatility for carrying hand tools. Some tips for assembly: - I would recommend not using the tools that are provided but instead have a socket set and combination wrenches. While it could be assembled with the tools provided, they will add to assembly time due to being too small and clumsy and the sharp edges are hard on hands. (I used metric wrenches/sockets but only had sockets up to 17mm, which wasn't large enough for the nut on the axels so a 3/4" worked well.) - Note where the instructions say not to tighten the front axel/handle assembly nuts too tightly. This should also apply to step 1 when the rear bar of the front axel is installed. Those bolts may need to be loosened after the handle is installed if they are too tight. The instructions don't say not to tighten them too tight. If too tight, it makes the cart hard to turn. - When assembling the seat, pay attention to the orientation of the split ring washers on part Z to make sure they are in order as displayed on the part diagram with the flat washer toward the head of the bolt and the split ring in recess of the seat back holes and against the seat bottom. The parts shrink pack had the flat and split washers the opposite way of the instructions. Assembling them with the split washer against the head will make the bolt heads sit up high on the seat back and the curve of the seat bottom will bend the flat washers if they are assembled with the split washer against the bolt head. - When assembling the seat backrest leave the bolts attaching the upright tubes a little loose to make attaching the tubes to the seat easier, then tighten all the bolts after the back is attached to the seat. Giving it a 3 because of assembly awkwardness and having to remove the seat side handles. ... show more

This sturdy garden cart proved easy to assemble. It rolls easily on a variety of surfaces and provides a seat most anywhere it's needed. It's comfortable to sit on and is very helpful with preventing back pain when a lot of bending would otherwise be required.

Well-made, sturdy. Adjustable height for seat. Like the tray underneath to hold odds and ends like small tools, stakes, gloves. Big wheels don't create big tracks in the garden and rolls nicely. Note, this version doesn't have the pull handle and swivel wheels on one side so you do have to pick it up to change direction, but I chose that because I felt that was better than having to deal with a handle and it getting in the way or tripping over it. ... show more
