This is a must-have for aging gardeners with bad knees. I'm getting to the point where going from kneeling to standing is a challenge. I took off one star because the plastic protectors (for where it touches the ground) don't stay on. And they only give you four when you really need eight. If you use this on concrete (without some sort of protection) it will rub off the paint, down to the metal which will eventually rust.

Width says newly widened and it is still mighty narrow. the part which contacts the ground is Plastic and rounded so it can rock as you work . Wife sat on about 10 minutes threw it aside and on the ground!

I was ready to have to assemble another garden tool when I opened the box. But, to my surprise and pleasure it came out of the box ready to use! It easily unfolds for use and refolds for storage. It's also light enough to carry around. The side storage and tote are a nice bonus for tool and glove storage.
