  • Just WOW
Size: 1100 Lbs
Didn't expect much for $70 product, but this is very high quality construction. The actual hook and turning butterfly has very nicely solid ball bearings for ease of use ie lifting up the engine. I am extremely happy

  • Works pretty good but no instructions
Size: 750 LBS
It came without instructions but i managed lol, i used this stand on a s4 13b rotary engine, i didnt use the original mounting part of the stand because rotaries need an adapter, hence they are built from the face up rather than the bottom up, so i got an adapter on eBay, this engine only weighs about 200 pounds so im sure that was nothing compared to the 700 pound capacity of this stand, regardless, its getting the job done well. ... show more

  • Not worth the money!!!
Size: 2T 4400LBS
Very low quality, paint job is horrible, already peeling off. The weld jobs are horrible, I will not be surprised if the welds crack. The nut bolt used for assembling are low quality. When you go to put it away for storage the legs that come up if you take it too far, they hit the support bracket and you can bend them. Just overall very low quality, not worth the money. ... show more

  • Good enough
Size: 2T 4400LBS
I want to give this thing 5 stars. But I can't. It is nicely painted and seems heavy duty but I have a few minor gripes. I had this next to my buddy's more expensive one. Had to borrow his since this one showed up a few days later than promised. Here is what I didn't like about this one: his lifted higher and both are about the same size and the exact same capacity This one was better for dropping down and installing the legs. The screw leveler adjuster Mcjig on this thing is quite small. Barely could reach across a V-6 and my biggest complaint: I cannot get the boom to be centered between the legs. This thing was welded crooked or the tension bars are bent wrong or something. Tried a couple of times to fix it, but when you are pulling an engine the last thing you want to do is screw around with that - so I'll admit to it being a half hearted effort. But it shouldn't be that hard! If I were to do it again, I'd probably spend a couple extra dollars for a different one. But it will be fine. Actually, now that I think about it, the only reason I picked this one was for the quick delivery - which turned out to not be so quick. ... show more

  • Worked perfectly when removing a sbc 305 out of the bed of a truck and onto an engine test stand.
Size: 2T 4400LBS
Easy to assemble, looks a little cheap like harbor freight stuff but I think it will last quite a long time for me. Shipping was really the worst part, no real communication and false delivery scheduling. I had to be home to receive this but I was given the wrong date, so I stayed home for nothing, I missed out on some work because I had to stay home waiting on this thing even thought it wasn't even in my own state yet. After it did show I got a few updates and was considering canceling my order and spending a little more to buy it at Northern tool. ... show more

  • Happy Hubby
Size: 1500 LBS
Hubby changed motors in his 83 monte carlo ss. Nothing wrong with original motor but he needed a stand to put it on. This stand is great! He wasn't expecting it (it was a surprise) but he put the old motor on the stand and now has it in the basement. Surprised at how sturdy it is and so glad the motor isn't in the barn anymore! ... show more

  • Finally Used it
Size: 1100 Lbs
I have been living with an oil leak from my BMW oil pan gasket for nearly a year. it started small but had developed into a very gross and messy constant drip that completely soaked the belly pan and left drips everywhere. The job required that you support/raise the engine and drop the subframe. Not a hard job but time-consuming. The support sets up very easily and did not move or give me any reason that it was not up to the task. My wife's car has the same engine and will eventually develop the same leak, so I will be sure to keep this handy for her job. ... show more
