I bought this in December 2025. I was very excited to get it because I was recovering from a very bad ankle break and the manual wheelchair was hurting my shoulders. It worked great! FOR 2 MONTHS. I had a fully charged battery and had used it one morning and then... nothing. It was dead. Checked AI for information and discovered that the fuse and the controller are actually inside the battery. We put the battery on a multimeter and it was charged. So it had to be the controller or fuse and both are inside the battery. I contacted Vevor and they told me "We don't sell separate components. You'll have to buy a whole new unit. Why? So it will die in 2 months? Do not buy this chair. Buy one where you can at least replace a battery or get to the controller. I ordered the 21 inch reclining seat which seemed to have the cut and paste discription from the 17.8 inch wide reclining seat, so I assumed from product selection it was actually the 21 inch as title summery stated. In the box was the 17 inch. However I put spacers and longer bolts on the arms to give it a 22 inch seating width instead of the hassle to otherwise get fixed. ... show more

    • Fabulous Folding Power Chair for Ambulatory Users

This power chair perfectly fits my needs. I did a lot of research on the chairs available here and this one fit my weight and dimensions (5’8”, 250lbs) and didn’t completely break the bank. I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user who uses this chair when I am traveling long distances. The battery seems to hold up well so far. I have driven it around for 2-3 hours at a time (like around a mall) and still had about half the battery life left. I haven’t had the need to use it longer than that so I don’t know how it would hold up across a full day. It is decently heavy (~50 lbs) but I am still able to lift it to put it in the back of my SUV. It’s a little awkward to lift because it will unfold if you grab it in the wrong place but once you get the hang of it, it’s not too difficult. I recently bought a portable ramp for when I am no longer able to lift it on my own. It is a fairly comfortable ride. It’s not the absolute smoothest, but for a budget power chair, it’s pretty good. I got the model without the reclining back and it does feel slightly shorter than I would normally prefer so people over 6’ would probably benefit from a different chair as this would be too cramped for them.
