Plastic is a tad thin, but should be okay if you don’t beat it up. Like others have reported, I also had trouble getting the larger bung to seal up. I eventually just tightened it real tight and it stopped leaking. My tank has markings to 40gal but I can fit 45. The lid is also pretty nice.

    • Leaking constantly!

The media could not be loaded. Sadly I’m very disappointed in this product- underneath each “leg” there appear to be screw holes where you could possibly bolt it down- on one of these screw down locations it was done too deep and penetrated the tank and makes it leak terribly. As well the screw cap fitting withe the valve will not seat properly and has a leak - might be able to solve with teflon plumbers tape - but this is all disappointing as I am using this on a remote property where this is my only water source container for small farm. This was purchased a few months back but just now getting it set up so I have no boxing to return for it Can Amazon or mfg help me out - I may have just gotten one that missed QA inspection but it will not work for me ... show more

Water tank works and holds water. Unfortunately water will leak from the top and bottom caps. Was able to make a permanent seal with glue.
