Its light-weight, and high-heat transferring aluminum features a tube and fin design that, dramatically increases surface area that enables the heat to dissipate more efficiently. This Aluminum Radiator is at least 40% more efficient than stock ones. Most importantly, it has a much higher capacity for coolant than stock ones, which means that your cooling system will be more efficient and will be more resistant to temperature surges in racing applications.

Got the 4 row aluminum radiator and i personally wanted to keep the stock fan and shroud. I ended up having to modify it and drilling some holes for the fan shroud clips both at bottom and both at the top. Also with the 4 row radiator i had about 1/8 inch clearance between the fan shroud and the ac compressor. Arrived safely packed, unpacked easily. Once unpacked it was installed in 10 minutes... (doesn't count fluids and removal of the junk radiator and everything, just install) and made a HUGE difference in cooling. It's a good upgrade! For anyone who has a question about the OEM Fan Shroud, it fit perfectly. I personally DID NOT want to convert to electric fans so I was very happy this supported the OEM Shroud. Perfect fit on my 87 f150. You do need to purchase inserts for trans line. All else perfect fit and good to go. Make sure you have thermostat housing port for thermostat to cut fans on and off as part of the relay.

If you're ordering this for a GAS ENGINE truck in the listed models, this might do well for you. For your viewing pleasure, I've included pictures of the shroud dimensions, (27 1/4" Width by 17 7/8" Height). This fan was ordered as part of an electric fan conversion for a 1987 F-350 w/6.9L IDIT. While this truck would ordinarily qualify for the "Ford Truck 1985-1996 F Series Bronco" category, it is not specified that this will NOT FIT the larger radiator on DIESEL trucks. The product is generally well made and I assume it would fit a gasser well, but my two star reduction is for the misinformation associated with my purchase, and subsequent return of this part for which I had to pay shipping. ... show more
