  • Cost effective dewormer and easy to use
Every animal rescuer needs this. Talk about saving money on expensive deworming pills for multiple dogs. Have used this for many yeas and it works, especially on hookworms. Have to give 3 days then 2weeks later for 3 day to kill the hatchlings. 1ml per 10 lbs and don’t worry if you give a little more. Safe to use. Yes I need the xl bottle every 3 months. ... show more

  • Fenbendazole like in Panacure
I've used this product for years. It is very effective for worming puppies. It's the same active ingredient in the same dosage as Panacurer which is what your vet will use

  • MERCK'S SAFEGUARD FROM AMAZON WAS TAMPERED WITH!!!
We bought this Merck Safeguard product for the first time from Amazon in Sept. 2025. Amazon's seller at that time was "HealthReady Store". We had not used this Fenbendazole product before. Pulled the liquid out of the narrow opening w/ an oral syringe & just gave it to 1 animal. He continued to have parasitic symptoms, so we continued the course w several follow up dosages over weeks. Well, over 2 months later, a colleague told me that he had gotten the same product in from Amazon & that it had a very strong acetone smell to it! Well, as a Med Lab Scientist, I have worked w/ A LOT of chemicals in my career. I've also been deeply involved in research as well as working thru government regs. Pulled the bottle out from our frig and poured some of it into a cup & smelled it. And WOW!! Extremely strong acetone based smell! There is absolutely NO DOUBT in my mind that somebody had tampered w/ this product! It appears that they poured out at least 50% of the Fenben & replaced it w/ acetone, so as to then be able to make additional bottles to then sell! Yup, this was all about greed $$ people!! So basically because this product was greatly diluted, so that my animal then DID NOT GET THE CORRECT DOSAGE AMOUNT OF FENBEN THAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GET!! And because of this, I strongly believe that Fenbendazole was so diluted down, this low amount of actual Fenben was then not able to kill all of the parasites that he had, thereby allowing the parasites to then develop resistance to the Fenben, of which then ultimately & unexpectedly killed him! I have talked to Merck on 2 different occasions now about this incident. And they admitted to me that they DON'T SAFETY SEAL THEIR BOTTLES AT ALL! SAY WHAT? This product is used on animals that are used in the supply chain e.g. cows (milk), goat (milk), cattle (red meat), lamb etc., BUT Merck isn't putting ANY safety seals on this product? This is an "in vivo" medicinal product and Merck can't be bothered to put DOUBLE SAFETY SEALS on this product? AND THEN THIS PRODUCT IS MADE IN CHINA?? HELLO MERCK! DO WE SEE A PROBLEM YET ON HOW IT WAS SO VERY EASY FOR SOMEONE TO THEN TAMPER W THIS PRODUCT? I am a medical researcher & worked for a biomedical company for decades. So I am EXTREMELY familiar with research, quality control testing, FDA regs, distribution & manufacturing. As such, I just submitted a complaint report into the FDA, with ALL of the details, about what happened to us! I have kept the tampered bottle so that my labs and the FDA can run GC (gas chromatography) testing so we can see what the composition of what this tainted bottle is. Merck told me that Amazon's distributor, "HealthReady Store" was NOT 1 of Merck's recognized distributors. So why in the world did Amazon allow this "HealthReady Store" to then sell Merck's Safeguard on Amazon's website IF THEY WERE NOT A RECOGNIZED DISTRIBUTOR BY MERCK? Well, I can promise you that the FDA will be investigating ALL, AS WILL I! In the meantime, I would recommend ONLY buying Safeguard from a Merck recognized distributor e.g. a rural farm feed & supply store or a large animal veterinarian supply store. ... show more

  • Works Like Magic, My Dogs Are Proof!
Let me tell you this stuff works like magic. I give it to my dogs (in smaller doses, of course) every three months, and it keeps them healthy and parasite-free. It’s originally for cattle and sheep, but it’s safe when measured correctly. I’ve been using it for a while now, and I’m sticking with it. Definitely worth having on hand if you’ve got pets! Easy to use and easy instructions. The bottle was sealed really well too, no leaks. I don’t think the taste is bad because my dogs lick it from their mouth. ... show more
