    • Cheap alternative to the Horse Paste Safeguard
I use this for horses, as it is a lot cheaper than the horse dewormer but is the same product. I primarily use it for my foals. They seem to like the flavor and it does a good job of getting rid of worms if they have them. I dose every six to eight weeks at a slightly higher dose than their body weight. I have used this product in this manner now for 5 years or so on around 40 foals, plus maybe 50-70 adult horses. Works great and gets rid of large strongyles! Edit: three years later and I still love this product. It still works for my herd and I’ve now used it on about twice as many foals aged 6 weeks and older. It kills worms and I see them in the fences if the foals have them within 2 days of dosing. I love this product. ... show more

Very disappointed in this new bottle that i just opened. It has a chemical smell to it. I don’t know if it's because it's about expire. I give this to my animals. It incredibly works on them. i had one of them that was about to die. The last batch of this bottle I had, I gave it to him for 7 days. It saved him, now he's happy go lucky.
