I got this to fit inside the secret litter box. It fit super well and is great quality, but my boys just wanted to play in the litter box (they’re more used to an open litter box, the enclosed one felt like a fun hiding spot to pounce out onto each other apparently). Returned the secret litter box through Amazon—free of charge. This item, however, gets returned through the seller. At first glance, it looks as though they are going to charge who charges $14.98 through UPS. When accounting for the item cost ($19 plus tax), it seems as though if you return, you’ll only get $5 back. Mine measured 16.625" (16 5/8"), but only on the very most optimistic interpretation of the O.D., and certainly NOT the 17.25" (17 1/4") that it is listed at. The USEFUL diameter of this pail is 15.75" (15 3/4") at the top, and 14" at the bottom (I.D. measurements) As a result, it isn't large enough for the task I purchased it for. ... show more
