we absolutely love this waterer!!!! wish we had bought one earlier in life....easy to install & use, although we wanted a longer hose to attach to our hosecock which we purchased separately...our dogs love it & we don't have to worry about replacing the water every 5 seconds ....we did not attach it to the wall....it is on the ground & it works out fine....you do have to keep an eye out about cleaning it cause algae does accumulate in the wet....all i have had to do so far is rinse it out.... strongly suggest trying to keep it shaded so that the water remains at a reasonable temperature in this era of global warming ... show more

Great little water setup. Super easy to install and works great. The dogs always have something to drink. Recommend it if you’re out of town over a weekend and worried about your pets not having water.

I find the other product reviews are accurate. This product is sturdy and within expectations. It is working fine as far as refilling and the dogs drink from it. All of the parts necessary for installation (with the exception of post screws) were included. My ONLY issue is the sharp edges and we did file all of the edges down to protect the animals. * I should add, the product didn't come with installation instructions (although the parts are fairly straightforward) and the external connector from the float to the hose is PVC - we had to cover it with a metal sleeve to prevent the animals from chewing. ... show more

We set this up for our chickens. I was easy to install and I never have to worry about refilling their water. It does get algae build up but it can be cleaned easily.

This "cattle" waterer is a perfect size for our 3 belgian malinois. These dogs tend to splash out all their water from their water bowls, but this product seems to have remedied our need to constantly refill their bowls. Its relatively easy to install, but if you're going to mount on brick like i did, get yourself a good hammer drill and masonry bit. ... show more

This is the world's best invention for dogs who are outside and drink a lot of water - and like their water clean and fresh and cold. While our dogs are mostly inside dogs, they love this new bowl. It hooks to the hose faucet (recommend you also get a splitter for the faucet so that you can still keep a hose attached), and refills automatically. So far this waterer is great. Zero drips. The fill valve seems to work very well. The water line has a built in tool to keep it tight which is very helpful. I will update my review if it doesn't stand the test of time.
