The jack works great to lift a vehicle. I like that it has a built in air pump. You should have no problem with cars or trucks. The impact works very well, too. My only issue with it (which is a feature..) is that the jack stays on when going up or down. This is extremely dangerous if you're not paying attention. There's a reason why lifts don't lock on/off at the shop. You have to be holding the button for safety. With this in mind, I'm very happy with the product overall. I started out a little skeptical testing this kit that includes an electric car jack, electric impact wrench, needed sockets for the lug nuts, and several additional accessories (ASIN: B0CCRFR7CL), but I am now very favorably impressed. The jack has some nice safety features built-in. I was surprised at how fast the electric impact wrench spun off the lug nuts. The cord from the cars PTO was long enough that I was able to add air to all 4 tires on the ground. The kit even comes with a PTO connector that can be spring clamped directly to the battery terminals in case your vehicle did not come with a PTO connection. I used the jack to assist with my oil change. Using the center lift point it easily lifted both front tires clear of the ground, allowing me to place the two jack stands before getting under the car. The jack held station and did not creep down. It stayed firmly in place Adding pressure to the tires was easy. The connection to the tire stem screws on. At that point the tire's air pressure is displayed. The desired air pressure can be set and the pump started. The pump is then hands free, cutting off near the desired pressure. I verified the pressures with a certified tire air pressure gauge. Each time I used the pump to bring up the tires to the desired 32 psi the pump stopped at or just below 33.5 psi. Very good. The electric impact wrench spun so fast that my son had thought that he had slipped off the lug nut, but instead it was already off. Putting the lugs back on was just as easy, but I would recommend that one hand start each lug for several complete rotations to ensure that the threads were on properly before using the impact wrench. We tightened the lugs following the provided written instructions. For this car the proper torque is 76 foot pounds. I used a torque wrench to then loosen the lugs and found them to be between 100 and 110 foot pounds. This is fine for emergency tire change situations. As the printed instructions state, once to a safe location it is important to check the lug’s torque with a torque wrench and adjust accordingly. I found this to be a very nice and effective set that also includes a rigid case to compactly store all the parts. ... show more

    • Works Well but comes with Metric Socket for lug nuts
I was excited to get this, but did not notice that it only goes to 16.5". I can not use it on my F-150. I did experiment with it and it works exactly as advertised. It is slow but I would not want it to shoot up like a rocket as being slow lets you make sure it is in the right place as it makes contact. The Impact wrench works great! I will add it to my emergency kit and it will make popping a tire off so much easier and faster. It all comes in a nice case and if it will fit your car this is a really nice upgrade to changing a tire I had never considered before. ... show more

    • Looks Can Be Deceiving....Good Product
I was a little skeptical about this product to begin with. It is made of plastic and runs off the car's battery. I didn't expect the jack nor the impact wrench to be that powerful. Boy, was I surprised. Both worked very well. Only complaint about the jack is that it was very slow. Also, the biggest complaint is that it can only be used on one of my two vehicles. I own a sports car and there is not enough ground clearance to use the jack. However, there was no problem with my SUV. To operate the devices, you have to plug in to the cars cigarette light or connect to the car's battery. It would be nice if you could plug in to my homes electricity. It comes with a very nice storage case. ... show more

This kit exceed my expectations. I have used a couple of times and everything is working well. It comes in a nice case. I got for my son since his car is older and needs a bit extra work. Overall great set.

    • Lots of neat functions built into this. A few shortcomings
I love that the case has an reflective safety warning triangle built into it. That's pretty clever, you can set the case next to you or your vehicle for a bit of added protection. The jack is a flashlight, air compressor, and it has all the air compressor attachments you would need for basketballs and sports, biking, inflatable paddle boards, and tire chuck. You can plug into your cigarette lighter (12V), or, it comes with alligator clips to connect directly to the battery. They also includes an electric torque wrench (12 volt), and a headlamp. The wrench comes with 2 sockets for common sized lug nuts. It does have a few shortcomings. It stinks SO BAD. I've been letting it air out for a week now, and it still stinks. I'm sure it's just VOCs off-gassing, but I wouldn't bring it inside, or in your vehicle, until the smell dissipates. It doesn't get very tall - only 16 inches. This probably won't work for taller trucks. I'm going to guess that someone will put wood or bricks under it to make it taller, though the manufacturer would probably recommend against that. This should only be used on perfectly flat/level surfaces. I'm not sure how wobbly this is compared to a traditional jack. It's fairly slow, but that's probably a good idea for something motorized like this. You don't want it getting away from you. ... show more
