Big time money saver. I live in Arizona we go through a lot of ice. We use this to make ice about twice a day, works great. The only downfall is it doesn't keep the ice that's already made frozen so you got to constantly be dumping it in your freezer. It is not very noisy at all.

I didn't know it was going to be this gigantic. My spouse bought one for $80 which was a Frigidaire brand at Walmart. It makes little tiny bullet cubes they melt really quickly and it's messy. All right this one for almost less than half the price and it makes tons of ice cube and they don't melt while they're making ice cubes so far it's doing great! I've only had it for a week now but so far I love it. It's easy to use, it cleans easily, the ice is great, use filtered spring water it's the best.. I have actually sat the ice maker on the vanity in my bedroom. At this point I made a really good decision by buying this from Amazon. I don't even use the ice maker in my refrigerator/freezer anymore!! ... show more

Bought brand new. Was very disappointed to find the item not working. Emailed tech support and their requirements were a bit too much for me to bother with. Ended up returning defective item for a refund.

The speed this thing makes Ice is incredible. It quite a large unit but I wanted one with a larger capacity. At first I was a little worried about not coming home to ready made ice if it was not used during my long work days as it will shut itself off and go into a kind of defrost mode but all you do is hit the on button again and in minutes there is Ice and in one hour there is a full basket. Makes excellent, thicker larger ice that definitely lasts longer than the ice thag our last machine made! The machine itself is fairly quiet when running. Was surprised at how latge the machine is, still fits on the kitchen counter nicely...just be sure to pay attention to the exact measurements if you're a person with thight space! ... show more

This is a great icemaking machine. It makes size faster and my old one. Electrically it’s pretty economical. You could actually run it off a generator if you’re camping.
