I absolutely 💯 love this meat slicer. It's easy to use. The knob for the thickness is wonderful. It's size is fine with me. The design of this machine is great. It says I'm here to help you and lighten your load. No kidding. I like the shield and the handle that keeps your hands and fingers safe also. As far as I can tell it's built good. The blade isn't flimsy at all. It's the 10" blade and it's thick. I was very surprised with it. I hope the videos are OK. I was tired from working and a little nervous. Didn't have anything to do with the make or quality of this product. I am 66 years old. I took the suggestion of a man who bought it. He said to use the screwdriver to hold the blade in place while loosing and tightening to remove and replace the blade. Good advice. Thank you for such a great product. 👍 ... show more

I received my unit with a cracked plastic foot and a slipped drive belt. When I tested the unit by powering it on, the slicing blade spun for a second or less then stopped. When I turned the unit on again I heard something spinning, but the blade was not moving. I unscrewed the bottom panel and discovered the tensioner belt slipped loose! Not only that but it looks like the mounting bracket the motor rests on was chipped. The slicer was packed in a nice styrofoam shell, but the issues remain. It's a heavy item. It's going to put a lot of stress on components during transit. Either ship the unit slightly dismantled at the slight expense of the customer having to assemble, choose a different shipping enclosure, improve your QC factory inspections, or risk customers receiving damaged items. This is a pretty expensive item with a long lead time so I expect it to function when I receive it! It's not the biggest deal to me as I'm relatively handy and reinstalled the belt (and I already shredded the box it came in lol), but I'm still upset it happened. The experience would suck for others less handy who waited a month, for an expensive item, only to find it didn't work and had to waste even more time returning it. I'm writing this review to echo a few other purchasers who had similar slipped belt issues. Buyer beware you might experience the same issue. Tools needed to fix are a Phillips screwdriver, 10mm box wrench and a deep 5mm Allen. Standard Allen wrenches are too short to unseat the mounting bracket so I had to use an impact, socket extender, and a 5mm head. The slicer itself cuts great. Yay. ... show more

For many years, I have been using 7.5in electric meat slicers that are less than 200W, made cheaply and constantly finding ways to repair them, but surprisingly, they did the job. Now with this 10in – 240W VEVOR Commercial Electric Slicer, slicing food and meat is a whole lot easier. At this point, I have sliced roast, homemade deli style meat, summer sausage, bacon and bread. This VEVOR slicer does a very good job. The only minor issues that I have is with cleanup. There is a spot where the food holder fastens to the sliding carriage that is a little hard to clean. The other issue deals with cleaning the cutting blade because you really need to remove the blade for it to be cleaned properly. The blade removal is a hassle in that you have to use a hex driver (that is not provided) to remove three screws that hold the blade in place. Also, handling the blade can be tricky, but it can be done. There are two tapped holes in the blade assembly that I put bolts (bolts not provided) into so I can handle the blade safely and easily. I was interested in seeing if there were any accessories or digital documents for this meat slicer, so I visited the VEVOR website. There were no accessories or documents. I contacted their customer service and they really provide service. They did not have any document on hand but they sent me a copy of the user’s manual, which they either scanned or had access to. It comes with a user’s manual, but I seem to misplace manuals all the time, so I try to digital copies of manuals on my PC. VEVOR customer service goes out of its way to help their customers. As far as price goes I got mine before they increased the price and got a deal. I got a feeling that they increased the price because of shipping costs for this heavy and large slicer. I did notice VEVOR website gives a price break for registering the product, when it is purchased from them directly. Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted: ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more
