The first portable carport was very easy and straight forward to assemble. Assembled on my own and it only took about 45 minutes to complete. The fabric appears to be heavy duty and fits very snug as it should. The second one I reordered had no braces at all and five of the female fittings were smashed so they had to be reopened to assemble. Side poles were one piece rather than two which made for a much more difficult assembly. Could not contact manufacturer. Strange how one could be so good and the next was crap!

The pipes are a good thickness and the reinforcement bars are also a good feature. The tarp was not too great some of the stitching was coming off on 1st use so may not last too much longer. I used this for a outdoor party on a windy day and it held up real good with some added straps. No bent or broken parts on my order. For the price I was pleased with the quality.

It took less than two hours to set up by one and a half men, my son and me, age 78. Three days later had a wind storm for 24 hours of 10 to 20 sustained winds and gust up to 30 miles an hour. No problem! I did anchor to large rocks that i needed to find a place for them anyway. I feel that anyone that had trouble with these in winds suffered because they did not anchor it down properly. Dumb. I am think about buying another one to use at craft shows that we can take an hour or two to set up and anchor. I have three cats, my son has two, so I use 40 pound boxes of Clump and Seal cat litter to anchor. I put two on each leg of a craft tent and they don't go any where. i would put two boxes on each leg and if it goes anywhere in a wind so will your car! Won't survive a tornado!

So I had ordered this a few months ago for a temporary storage solution while I was building an addition to my shop however FedEx lost it somehow, anyway my brother bought one instead and his was easy to setup and build took about 2 hours in all with some help. We wasn’t rushing. Sturdiness, if you build it per the instructions it’s as sturdy as you’d expect we built one similar to this adjacent to a carport on a concrete pad we secured the legs to the concrete and strapped the metal posts to the carport that temporary shed is much more sturdy than my brothers that’s free standing in the field but we have had some hard rain and it survived hurricane Debbie we live central piedmont area of NC. Mainly just had heavy rainfall and some gusty winds. The stability of the stand alone shed is ok it’s not perfect but it’s only temporary it will certainly get you by I wouldn’t recommend using this as a permanent stand alone shelter unless you can anchor it properly. The material is decent it’s waterproof and durable not sure what you classify the thickness as but I would compare to a heavy duty tarp you would find at Lowe’s. The size of this shed is bigger than you think we have a Polaris ranger side by side, John Deere zero turn, husqvarna garden tractor, new holland sub compact tractor and a yard trailer all tucked away in this thing so it’s decently sized for what you pay for. Other than the fact that FedEx lost mine thankfully customer service was excellent to work with I provided the tracking information and they saw it was lost in shipping and promptly processed the refund. I would definitely recommend this as a temporary shed! Edited Hurricane Helene took it out so everything we had under it got a good soaking we used everything that came in the package to secure it to the ground and that didn’t work we did not use sand bags even though I doubt that would’ve helped. This was a stand alone in an open field probably played a big role in it taking flight.

Put it up in 2 hrs instructions were perfect the poles are all marked pretty much fool proof. The top time will tell it went on tight with lots of bungee cords to prevent it from flopping around all around very good choice would Definitely recommended to others.

Shipped all the way to hawaii. Handled in a storm. I did buy cork screw anchors for the four corners. See how long it lasts but for just over a 200 bucks that’s a steal. Drive went up $40 after I purchased my order. Probably they lost money shipping it to Hawaii as Package was BIG. Thanks!!
