Have used three times now and love it. Sturdy, super easy to put together, my 6 year old can. It’s light and fairly compact. Perfect for what I needed

  • Great little stove for the $
Size: 8.86"x13.31"x9.17",23.2L Color: Black
I like this stove a lot. Overall it's a simple but effective design The steel is thick enough to stay true and square, but it's not so heavy as to be absurd. The fire window is large and lights up the whole room. This is my sauna stove. It's used at least 4 days a week for 5 to 8 hours and does great. A plate steel bottomed rock basket above the stove protects it from water so the stove won't warp and crack from thermal shock. I'd recommend adding a door gasket so a full firebox of wood will not just go up in flames out the chimney, but will take 30 minutes to burn completely. The secondary air setup is cute, not sure it helps much though. The chimney is small. 60mm or 2.3in diameter. Any amount of creosote (all uninsulated pipe will do that) and the stove will not draft properly. Instead of daily cleaning, I'm upgrading the chimney to 89mm or 3.5in SS pipe and will make a custom chimney brush for cleaning. I also added a simple fire grate to allow air in under the fire to help it burn cleaner. Yes, the paint is cheap and will peel off. Meh. I'd recommend this stove, but also plan for some mods/ upgrades to improve it. ... show more

  • The parts, for the stove did not fit together tightly.
Size: 12.32"x7.80"x6.10",10.5L Color: Silver
The parts did not fit well, and I was concerned about carbon monoxide as a result. The aluminum plate at the top of the stove was loose and you could see fire through the gaps. In addition, the door fit loosely, and you cannot control the fire very well as a result. Lastly, the chimney provided was too tight to fit over the connection to the stove and I was forced to crimp that connection in order to get the pipe to fit on it. in the end, I return the stove for a refund. ... show more

  • This stove isnt safe, Spend $100 more and get what you want.
Size: 12.32"x7.80"x6.10",10.5L Color: Silver
While the stove arrived timely, and packaged well. the stove itself is terrible. A: the square top plate is aluminum and began warping during the first firing. It actually began melting at one point. it allows smoke to escape around it. B:the door fits loosely, and has no seal, therefor even with the air flow shut, the stove can still pull all the air needed to run wide open. the latch mechanism is weak and floppy and is so minimal that it will burn you. C: to keep the fire out of the chimney, you have to run the damper completely cosed. dont worry it wont snuff the fire as its not big enough to completely close the pipe off. D: the chimney is a 7 piece tapered/telescoping style. it uses worm gear hose clamps to pinch each section, i had to use a wrench to tighten them to they wouldnt slip and collapse, to the point that the walls began to buckle at the joints. the rain cap is goofy. no spark arrestor. E: there is no grate to keep the fire burning efficiently off the bottom of the stove. ______________________________________________ i bought several sheets of stainless steel to modify the stove. as well as door gasket and gasket cement. i also had to buy carbide drill bits to be able to repeatedly drill through the stainless. i also used stainless rivets and a few stainless nuts and bolts. A: to the top of the stove i added: i capped the square hole with two sheets of stainless and pinched the aluminum plate in beteen them. i used a little bit of furnace gasket cement to seal the aluminum plate. i then created a baffle plate that causes the exhaust of the fire to travel further to reach the chimney base. this helps increase total combustion and helps keep the flame out of the chimney. i secured all the added pieces with stainless steel rivets. B: i added 3/8 stove gasket rope and secured it with furnace gasket cement. i used a bushing and a piece of longer stainless and a bit of a spring(for the handle itself) to make a more sturdy latch. i also added an air diverter using the bottom two screws for the door glass to send the airflow under the grate i added. C: no mods here, yet. D: at first i added some stainless mech to the rain cap to act as a spark arrestor, but i will be replacing the chimney with a better stainless slip joint one. and a better spark arrestor cap. E: i made a raised floor grate with walls on three sides to add secondary combustion air. the floor grate carefully meets the air diverter on the door so that air runs underneath the grate and into the secondary air channels. the mods need additional fine tuning. but it will be a one and done stove. i wont need to do anything else to it after this. could have bought a nicer stove with the money spent on materials. total cost after mods $220 ... show more
